Hi jan ! I found if you put 1/4 inch strip along two layers were you were going to put you tombow glue, gives it a little lifted space to slip the pockets easier! Love your card!

@@janbcards - Thank you so much! I ended up following your tutorial on another card for the young man. I had been afraid that I wouldn’t be able to finish it on time. It takes me a lot longer than the average crafter to finish a project. I’ve got neuropathy in my hands and feet, which can make days too painful to do what I love. I’m all good with this now. If anything, it gives me time to really think things through, make changes or start over or, finish the piece early, which is so rare, but I did it the day before. I cannot believe I had finished the gift card holder. That is a first for me. I’ve been known to give cards a bit late too. No one seems to mind, so it’s all good. Oh my gosh! I had used the Winterland Doodlebug paper for the gift card holder, and it is ever so cute! It’s my first time working with their paper, and I’m thinking I might be hooked. I look forward to following more of your tutorials simply because you’re so kind, smart, and such a wonderful Lady. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts with us. Jan, I love this card. There is a product called "un-du" that will remove adhesives but not glue but it is wonderful. I've had to use it many times to remove a panel because it wasn't straight but I usually use Tombow tape runners so it comes off very easily. Thanks for including the US measurements.

if you had put 1/2 inch flaps on 3 sides of the pockets like you do when making a scrapbook from scratch there would be more room for the cards. Just a suggestion.

As usual love the cards that you do .Can you use the red double sided tape which is stronger.Also when you put the two pieces of tape on use the backing that you have taken off put over the top to flatten it down.

@@janbcards Hi, why your manicurist do not use stamping plates for nail art? You kan make every animal skin on every color... Just like stamping on paper, but then you put on special stamping polish, scrape it over the image you want and stamp it on your colored nails wit a special nail at stamper.. (many to see at aliexpress search for 'nail stamping plates' .. hope you wil try it yourself.. so easy to do, and you find so many plates with nail art images.. so each image you like.. Love yours too..

The magnetic sheet that comes in the folder is very floppy but I adhere a piece of white card (from a pack of Designer Series Paper) and then adhere actual die-cuts. Hello buddy. I'm at about 35 minutes, and I need to share 2 tips that work for me on adhesive. I hope you try them both and let me know if they were helpful and worked for you or not; ok buddy? 1. Glued down mistake with Tombow...instead of your heat tool, try your hot breathe. I huff hot air just like when S.U. ink dries on your stamp and you huff on it. 2. Sticky glue of any kind that S.U. sells or the glue that RUclipsr @Maymaymadeit uses and sells. I put baby powder on it to get the sticky glue not sticky anymore. You can use your retired S.U. embossing buddy as well. I personally rather use baby powder because I like the smell. I don't think the smell lasts until the recipient gets my project, but I'm not sure, ok. No one has ever said they DO OR DON'T smell the baby powder, and no complaints about it either. Miss you BTW, virtual hugs 🤗 your way my BFF across the pond. 😉

Hi jan ! I found if you put 1/4 inch strip along two layers were you were going to put you tombow glue, gives it a little lifted space to slip the pockets easier! Love your card!

I ended up following your tutorial on another card for the young man. I had been afraid that I wouldn’t be able to finish it on time. It takes me a lot longer than the average crafter to finish a project. I’ve got neuropathy in my hands and feet, which can make days too painful to do what I love.
I’m all good with this now. If anything, it gives me time to really think things through, make changes or start over or, finish the piece early, which is so rare, but I did it the day before. I cannot believe I had finished the gift card holder. That is a first for me. I’ve been known to give cards a bit late too. No one seems to mind, so it’s all good.
Oh my gosh! I had used the Winterland Doodlebug paper for the gift card holder, and it is ever so cute! It’s my first time working with their paper, and I’m thinking I might be hooked.
I look forward to following more of your tutorials simply because you’re so kind, smart, and such a wonderful Lady. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts with us.

Yes, I have more bad days than good, but in those times I just look for some inspiration in whatever I’m interested in creating at that time. So yeah, I have a lot of projects I can’t wait to get too. And during these times I might even find a great teacher like yourself. So it’s a win-win.

Jan, I love this card. There is a product called "un-du" that will remove adhesives but not glue but it is wonderful. I've had to use it many times
to remove a panel because it wasn't straight but I usually use Tombow tape runners so it comes off very easily. Thanks for including the US measurements.

You could use your1inch circle punch so that the recipient will know that it opens.

if you had put 1/2 inch flaps on 3 sides of the pockets like you do when making a scrapbook from scratch there would be more room for the cards. Just a suggestion.

As usual love the cards that you do .Can you use the red double sided tape which is stronger.Also when you
put the two pieces of tape on use the backing that you have taken off put over the top to flatten it down.

@@janbcards Hi, why your manicurist do not use stamping plates for nail art? You kan make every animal skin on every color... Just like stamping on paper, but then you put on special stamping polish, scrape it over the image you want and stamp it on your colored nails wit a special nail at stamper.. (many to see at aliexpress search for 'nail stamping plates' .. hope you wil try it yourself.. so easy to do, and you find so many plates with nail art images.. so each image you like.. Love yours too..

The magnetic sheet that comes in the folder is very floppy but I adhere a piece of white card (from a pack of Designer Series Paper) and then adhere actual die-cuts. Hello buddy. I'm at about 35 minutes, and I need to share 2 tips that work for me on adhesive. I hope you try them both and let me know if they were helpful and worked for you or not; ok buddy?
1. Glued down mistake with Tombow...instead of your heat tool, try your hot breathe. I huff hot air just like when S.U. ink dries on your stamp and you huff on it.
2. Sticky glue of any kind that S.U. sells or the glue that RUclipsr @Maymaymadeit uses and sells. I put baby powder on it to get the sticky glue not sticky anymore. You can use your retired S.U. embossing buddy as well. I personally rather use baby powder because I like the smell. I don't think the smell lasts until the recipient gets my project, but I'm not sure, ok. No one has ever said they DO OR DON'T smell the baby powder, and no complaints about it either. Miss you BTW, virtual hugs 🤗 your way my BFF across the pond. 😉
