Haven't watched yet - I'm about to - but so excited to see an Algol based reading. I have Algol opposite my natal Sun (Western astrology). My brother dedicated much of his astrological career to studying the Fixed Stars and he - like you - felt that Algol had too negative a reputation and had very transformative and protective powers. That makes sense when you think about how the image of Medusa is used as a protective symbol even to this day.
