I'm from Oregon and always see coyotes where I hunt but I've never looked into it but do u need a tag to shoot one??
No tag just a hunting license. Season is open year round.

The coyote population is managed mainly by hunters in this way BUT there is a fur market also that you can sell the skins but eating them is something we havent done.
