@Arianna Chavez perfectly said. It’s heartbreaking when people think that parents choose to abandon them and put them through this. Although it has happened it’s definitely not always the case, and even if it was...it would never change my wanting to help these children as it’s not their fault 💕
@Arianna Chavez Yeah wherever you want to put it. it still a tremendous stupidity to leave little children travel by themselves. Can’t the parents think about the kids safety first? All the crap about looking for a better life should have been thought before bringing all these kids into poverty. They put the kids to just go trough hell and with danger of being raped and killed just bacause their parents left first? I don’t care if they left them with relatives or neighbors that’s is child abandonment and then child abused for forcing them to take a journey to America. Shame on them!

@Ana Ceja there are plenty opportunities o work and betterment, a lot of people just don’t want to do the work of bettering their countries. I have family in both El Salvador and Honduras, my family in El Salvador have put in the work wether in the city or countryside to live better lives. My family in Honduras is the opposite, they get into a bunch of debt and send their teenage children to come work in the US to pay off their debts, and they never leave the country because after one is payed off they start another, they live laid back lifestyles, while their children 16+ work full time everyday of the week here. You can make excuses, but there’s always opportunity to work in those countries, unless we see examples of communism like Venezuela or Nicaragua. My grandma’s been looking for a worker in her farm in El Salvador, but nobody’s willing. I think hard working people can prosper *mostly* anywhere, many times they just want the value of the dollar in the US rather than their own country’s. Their able to come here, build their homes and whatever they want in their country, make enough savings, and go back when their ready. I’m just speaking from what I know, have seen, and experienced. Other people could have lived differently, the majority of cases I know though are what I described above.

Very important translation note: the kid does not just say “left behind” he says “dumped”. It’s not that they left him. He is aware that being dumped is the same as being dead so he’s petrified. Me dejaron and me dejaron botado have different implications. People say botado when you’re throwing away trash or feel so hurt that’s it’s hurtful to be “dumped”. He might have been slowing down the group or for whatever reason the group for its survival thought best to abandon him. This kid felt abandoned. It’s the awful danger hundreds if not thousands of children and teens crossing over.
Yep. Happens all the god damned time. I've heard countless horror stories of parents who trusted in cayotes who were ALSO family members, where the children end up in HORRIBLE, unspeakable conditions. NEVER trust anyone with your child! Irresponsible parenting.
Thank you for explaining the difference. Heartbreaking what all these children are dealing with each day. Couldn't someone put their arm around him? Just a bit of comfort offered?
What happened to that boy is that his family and him were kidnapped on the way to the US. The reasons he was “dumped” is because his grandfather was able to pay the kidnappers to let him go
Hi, Nicaraguan here! So, the boy's uncle explained what happened: both Wilton (the little kid) and his mother were trying to migrate to USA from Nicaragua, but were kidnapped in north Mexico. Because their family didnt have enough money for the release (also, Nicaragua is a very poor country), the kidnappers dropped Wilton off in that place and kept his mother with them. Good news tho! The uncle said the mother was finally released and is already with her son!
Thank you so much for closure about this sweet angels story. Hopefully one day all of the poor children in ICE will be reunited with their families, or, if that isn't possible, adopted into loving families.
Grecia, I have to ask you. Is what those children are going through now actually better than what is going on in your country? They would at least have their families for comfort. Here, there is no promise of a better life. Their no promise that a good family will take them in. No promise that they won't be abused in some way. No promise that they will be treated well. No promise that they will be accepted. Our country is in the throws of the worse turmoil in it's history and it's not getting better. We are not united anymore. Our streets are becoming was zones. Not to mention school shootings, mass murders and on and on. It's not a safe haven anymore. Why does people in your country thinks if safe to leave their babies here alone? Please believe this is a honest question. I want to know from someone who is from there and knows what they are talking about. I'm not judging or criticizing. If could I would give all of them a loving home with their families. But if I was a child, I would rather be with my mother who loves me and be scared than with people who I don't know and they don't care about me and be scared. Thank you

I was once dropped off at daycare where, unbeknownst to my parents, my babysitter wasn't home. They left before seeing if I was let inside, and I was stuck outside alone. I cried on and off for awhile, pacing and staring up and down the sidewalk. Eventually a neighbor came out and took me in, gave me a sandwich, and helped me home. I later found out I had been waiting and crying for 4 hours. Today, even as an adult, I still feel a little sad, remembering the fear and confusion I'd experienced... I can't fathom what this boy must be feeling. I can look back on this memory and say "Water under the bridge! I turned out fine, and it's not like it was anyone's fault!". And then guarantee that they'll be contributing to society. Some may find it hard to find work. Others may live off social services. Others might not want to work. Not all but depending on how many it could be around 30%. Finding a job would probably be the most challenging for them. Then if they can't say find stable consistent work then that increases the homeless problem like we saw in UK for a while which it turn causes more issues. And just like we saw in the UK national born citizens get angry cause they are the ones paying taxes for all the tax hikes and new incentives in place to fix all the new issues. My family in Honduras is the opposite, they get into a bunch of debt and send their teenage children to come work in the US to pay off their debts, and they never leave the country because after one is payed off they start another, they live laid back lifestyles, while their children 16+ work full time everyday of the week here. I would have gotten down on one knee, gave him a big hug, told him he was safe now, and given him whatever food and drink I packed for the day. Played music on the radio and talk to him. Thats the thing. We need more empathy. Fucking 10 year old ON HIS OWN wandering the desert. SO WHAT IF HES MEXICAN. Hell, there were no borders until the last 100ish years! Before that, anyone can migrate anywhere. USA was a beacon of hope for the world. Statue of liberty was a symbol they all looked up to. If you can make it here, you were safe to start over and leave your past behind. Yeah, we get some bad apples with that sort of policy, like ex Nazis that escaped here and lived quiet lives in places like Arkansas until they died of old age peacefully, but then we also get the people that like to teach others, or people that like to help others, fleeing their country of origin because of horrible conditions. THey come here and put their skills to use.
@@dogsbecute No one cares that he's Mexican. The people that are against mass migration like this understand the ramifications of it as a hard truth and are not against immigration in general at all. @@aliquidgaming1068 okay, so by saying, he is "not from our society" you actually made it way worse. It's not about how you treat "your children", but children, innocent human beings, in total. Actually I cannot believe you really said this. That this is your argument. This is shocking.
@@leampunkt3678 ok....but what would you want? To send said child into the system thats over running with orphans and foster kids who are us citizens....ones born here who could potentially and most likely have been waiting years in the hopes of getting adopted to have to maybe lose out to a child who wasn't even born here? Fucked up to say but true. I say this as someone who comes from a family full of immigrants. It sucks but you got to take care of the children here first before we help anyone else. And the foster system here is garbage so how the fuck we suppose to help these children when us children are still hurting here?
Also no, if you use an analogy then use it properly regardless of how you feel emotionally. Thinking emotionally never fixes any problems cause you ignore the logical sides and just make new problems.
Fix problems here first then try and help others. If not ain't nothing going to change and you'll continue to see shit like this happen to more children.
My heart feels for the kid but I'm not going to be completely blind to all sides of this. It sucks but this situation has ballooned to the point where being overly generous and kind isn't going to fix the issue. It's more complex now than it has ever been. The world has changed in so many ways that these issues need to be handled with thorough thought and concern and time.
Also how many immigrants do you honestly think the US could hold? And then guarantee that they'll be contributing to society. Some may find it hard to find work. Others may live off social services. Others might not want to work. Not all but depending on how many it could be around 30%. Finding a job would probably be the most challenging for them. Then if they can't say find stable consistent work then that increases the homeless problem like we saw in UK for a while which it turn causes more issues.
And just like we saw in the UK national born citizens get angry cause they are the ones paying taxes for all the tax hikes and new incentives in place to fix all the new issues.
So yea go ahead take offense to what I said. I really don't care. Truth hurts sometimes and the truth is hard to hear.
The situation this kid was put in is disgusting but It could be worse and if not handled correctly then it'll only continue to worsen.
@@aliquidgaming1068 if you really want to fix the problems, you could. But no one really does. No one really cares. Cause no matter what, you will have people complaining about it and then they lose their votes. This is all, it is about in the USA. Politics is only about the next election. Things are not done to really fix problems on a long term, but with the next election in mind. There would be enough money to build proper forster homes, where these kids could live under human conditions at least. A lot of them were separated from their familys by the US border control. Why would you do that? How can anyone separate kids from their parents. So why not bringing them back togethet and giving them a chance to start over. All I hear is us first, US first, then them. This is not how humanity works. So at least be honest, you don't give a fuck. And I don't care about the argument, that you yourself are from a family of immigrants. I hear that so often. All it means is, that you already made it and don't care about the rest. You don't want to give a bit of what you got for others. This is a fucked up society. Period. And don't try to find arguments to legitimate that.

i mean his family put him over here. they are the ones at fault. if the families can just ask someone to traffick the kids then later come that is so bad. his family doesn’t even want to be united with him. i get how they want him to have a better life but it’s not fair to him or anybody else. it’s just a selfish move from his parents
La familia es la responsable, es horrible dejar un niño abandonado a su suerte .es una pena y el gobierna que lis alienta a venir una vergüenza.
@@BullyGarfield. Those children do not have a better life in USA, they're happy in their environment, most of them want to go back, they're "pushed" to come here by the parents who think they can get something out of those kids being here.
@@patriayvida5496 they would have a better life if they came here legally. those parents and the biden administration are totally at fault here. it’s so sad seeing kids like this
It broke my heart, me as a mom. NO kids should face this kind of life at young age
There is NO excuse for parents to send children alone like this. While they may live in a developing country without the bells and whistles of the USA, what the hell is wrong with these parents?! I blame the illegitimate POTUS Gropin' CHY-NAH Joe for this.
@@lemurianchick in all seriousness, yes, this is his fault.
@Zoé Laterchi when you know you’ll be denied, and you have drug dealers threatening to execute your children, you’d be surprised what you’ll do as a parent. Jesus fucking Christ, it’s literally in the Bible: Does Moses ring a bell?
Hi army👋💜
@@lemurianchick just count yourself lucky. u have no idea how these people live day in and day out. imagine having to choose between sending your kids to a life endangering trip to cross border for a promise of a better life, or making your kids stay in a life endangering situation in your home country fearing for their lives every waking moment.
Oh my goodness the shaking in his voice and his scared and sad eyes...I want to just hug him and make him feel safe forever! 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I wanna hug him. Poor thing.
This boys name is Wilton, together with his mom, Meylin, they traveled to the US on February 28th. They were deported to Mexico in late March where they were kidnapped/ransomed. Wilton’s uncle in Florida was able to pay $5,000, enough to free Wilton only. Meylin is still being held captive. The abductors abandoned Wilton at the border town La Grulla on April 1st. Wilton is 10 years old.
AND THE PEOPLE THAT KID NAPED HIM ARE NOW HERE BE CARFUL WHO WE LET IN THE BORDER
Wow, with $5,000 they could buy a house in their native country. There are tens of thousands of Wiltons in America and many more to come.
Also they were fleeing domestic violence. Only after appealing to their local authorities and church community leaders for help.
My Son is only 10. 🥺😭

Its crazy the world we live in. My heart is literally breaking for these kids.
I can't even imagine what many of these children are feeling or experiencing.. So heartbreaking!!
Omg, poor little boy. I hope he can be adopted into a safe and secure happy family. I just wanna hug him to make him feel safe. Poor darling xx
It’s so sad that people are desperately seeking a better life in America when America can’t even give a better life to its own people. They see the movies, commercials and hear which I call “myths” about our country and how beautiful it is they need to know it’s not all glitter and gold here!
Compared to their country and conditions they live in, America is glitter and gold. Sadly they don’t understand the struggles they will go through to be accepted as a member of society here. They will be looked down on and told to go back to their country. As they get older, more than likely they will be exploited by employers who take advantage of undocumented workers. Unless they’re able to get an education and legal status which takes YEARS!!!! It’s a huge mess.
THEY CAN. BUT LEGALLY.
@@MariMB08 yes the whole thing is just a mess. but they cant just come into america freely
If people that migrate from india have to do it legally, why dont people from mexico?! Like wtf. Yeah legally make it easier for them to come over so THIS STUFF DOESNT HAPPEN. THIS IS WHY ITS ILLEGAL!!!!
I agree but I think it's because almost ANYWHERE is better than their countries. The drug cartels have taken over. If the U.S. wants to help, they need to confront the leaders of those countries. Form a plan to combat cartels. Governments need to work together. It's really bad. Their law enforcement has no control. Cartels bribe them. Dead bodies lay in the streets. Women get raped/murdered every day and cops don't bother to investigate. It's basically hell on earth on the other side of the border.
I almost burst into tears , his little face asking for help is so heartbreaking . I hope he is well now , and people in the US can help him find a better home.

This took "drop off my baby" to a literal level, like not a family or friend or daycare, just at the border form a 10 feet wall
So the wall is useless, when can drop over kids. Need to send NG , or get troops out of other countries. ,we have enough of our own problems,
homeless, children in foster homes....how many thousands children are there?!
Have to feed them ,clothes..
While our citizens have to
food kitchens, foods bank
Send them birth control to stop producing unwanted kids!!
