I think you play this character the opposite way that it's supposed to be played by doing a minimalist build. my interpretation of his perk is that the more items in the deck the better because your damage increases for every item. Hoarder is actually probably the best perk for this build because it allows more items in the machine at once. at the end of your turn half of the items will be removed but it doesn't matter because they'll be added back at the beginning of your next turn. this combined with junk jet is an insane combo because junk jet deals damage for every item added to the machine. you still won so it didn't matter in the end but maybe if you play this character in the future (possibly for an endless run or something) it's something you could keep in mind.
Blitz you don't understand the character if you keep saying you don't want more items or you don't want horder😂
Hoarder, Junk Jet, Vampire, and Recyclel bin is an amazing combo for anyeone, but especially thematic for Gregg
When you grab things with the claw, the most left item usually falls in first. This may help in planning what item youd like to drop for multipliers
This is literally the best character for junk jet, hoarder, and vampire fangs builds, because he clears out half the items at the end of each turn, which deal damage as they fall back in, the more items you have and can have the more items that fall in, and each time you deal damage you are healed, making you functionally immortal if you aren’t killed in a single turn
Which is why you combo this with a defense-centric build. Lots of shields to survive turn 1 and then if they can't end it that turn, they might get a second chance. Odds are not, especially if they have an attack pattern of attack then buff/debuff/do a gimmick. 2 turns is generally the most any mob will take and bosses can take 1-5 turns. I'll never understand why Blitz hasn't ever run with that build even though he's done so many other meta builds.
You def want the hoarder item. The more items the stronger the recycling bin
Combination of that and Junk Jet is awesome. End turn, 50% of your massive pile of stuff goes away. Next turn, it all comes flooding back, doing damage for each one. After a while, all you actually want to grab is defence stuff to keep you alive while the junk jet chunks them down.
Add vampire, and you're almost immortal, because each one counts as a hit for giving you health back...
*Picks a build based aroubd having as many items as possible
*Refuses all perks that are great for builds with many items
*Picks a perk that is great for builds with few items

"Skip and Collect" is for people who don't like the gambling aspect and would rather be presented with the choices minus the slot machine.

When you use the tentacles go straight down. They spread out in water. Flopping it sideways prevents it from opening.

The skip and collect reward with the Perk-o-Mat just skips the animation. You will still get a choice of 2 perks, but you don't need to wait awhile for one to decide to fall in.
What if you had a recycle bin and a water bottle changed to not-plastic. Then change everything else to plastic. First grab - water bottle. Everything floats and gets absorbed by the recycle bin. Massive one-shot damage. Combined with a harpoon claw and Picky, you will not be beat.

Personally, I would have chosen the deflation perk. Because smaller items means you can fit more in your claw.
Blitz I got Hare L. Quin and I got her using either The triangle key or one of the blue keys!

The Harlequin rabbit is unlocked via grabbing ALL the keys. it will always be the last key in the tank and every run when you grab a key it's permanently removed from the tank.

@LevFishman-y6q Every time you go to the tank, the key that unlocks her cage is random. This mean you could get it the first time you play it, or you are unable to unlock her until you have only one key left.

@@Blitz I adore your content so much I hope my comment doesn't suggest otherwise. what I was referring to was the game sponsor at the beginning of the video. I have been noticing a few more than usual recently. I know you have a family to support and I'm always for RUclipsrs getting their bag. it's just a tiny bit disruptive to the video sometimes and I mean if you're being well compensated for it then it's all worth it. I just worry sometimes about content creators being exploited by advertisers and not getting their fair share.
On another note you do an exemplary job of disclosing when a company is sponsoring you to play a game.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you meant. With all of the negative comments on this video about my playstyle, I just assumed it your comment was another one being critical of the developers adding me to the game.
As for sponsors, I know they're interruptive. I turn down a lot of sponsorships that are predatory, and work with the best ones that I feel comfortable that we (audience and I) would enjoy the most.

Blitz, you're playing this character completely wrong. More items, regardless of what they're made of, Junk Jets, and Hoarder. Garbage Greg was made for the Junk Jet+Hoarder combo. The more things that are added into the machine, the more damage is dealt by Junk Jets and the fact he takes away half of the items in the machine after every turn means you're GUARANTEED to have a decent haul of items dropping in every turn if you have Hoarder. Combo that with Vampirism and it's difficult to die. Each Junk Jet damage counts towards Vampirism healing. Also since Junk Jets is just "coincidental damage" like spikes are, they can't really be dodged or reflected. Greg's here to take out the garbage and that's what you want in your deck; just tons of stuff.
