I will say, some brands definitely contaminate easier than others! My preventative steps might be overkill for some brands but I’d rather not risk it 🤣🤣 I have had my fair share of hardened brushes and goopy liquids 😬🙈
Thank you! I figured out my error! I got glass cuticle pushers like you suggested in the prep video, kept the brush off my skin and wiped between. Also I thought I needed to use activator on each layer! Whoops! Thank you for your videos!!

I started watching and I am just amazed at your knowledge you are better than the nails techs! My friend sent me a dip kit from Amazon she suggested that I tried doing my own nails I'm still a little nervous but I Kno it will save me so much money in the long run! Thank you for your time ❤️
I totally agree!! My sister was actually one of those people! She was ready to quit and so frustrated with it all. I ended up convincing her to switch brands because I didn’t think it was the best fit for her. Now she loves it again 🙌🏼💖

On the top coat can it touch the skin? As I've been waiting for my nails to grow out to do the free edge and there almost there I was concerned about the sealing of the top coat on the free edge I'm so glad I found your channel before so my Mani with dip powders/gels Thanks for all you do I'm learning it all!! This is very helpful! Have you had any issues with any brands getting contaminated easier than others? I had so many problems with one brand getting contaminated so easily but I switched brands and haven’t had anymore issues.
Absolutely!! I do believe some brands contaminated easier for me than others. To this day I’m not sure if it was user error, my living environment (fan, heat, house temp), or what in the world happened 😆 BUT I do feel as though, if I have better luck with other brands then they are less likely to contaminate.
Great video. I’m a newbie and my brushes got hard and I couldn’t get my nails to dry and everything was thick and goopy. I learned everything. If you have a truck on how to apply everything including tips on your dominant hand, that would help me. Also tips vs full coverage tips. Any preference?

The info is a started for people to do their own research too. I always leave my nail polish in the packaging they come in to prevent spill. Right now I don’t have to space to store it. I’m looking on ikea now to buy their long draws. I do have brushes for nails only. I notice some do get the products on the brush brussels (sorry if I spelled that wrong) I tried to dip it in alcohol and acetone but it didn’t work. I buy cheap brushes now.

I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not letting my peel base dry all the way. I thought it was still a little tacky when it dried. Good to know it shouldn’t be. Hi there! So sorry to hear your bottle is sealed shut! I have heard of others placing the bottle in boiling hot water to loosen it. I haven’t personally tried it though so please be careful 💖 also, if it’s a glass bottle pleaseeee don’t try to pry it back open because I’ve seen others get cut when the bottle breaks. Good luck!!
I enjoy their liquids! I loooove the brush! Very lux with the rounded shape and makes application seamless 🙌🏼 the base liquid is a thinner consistency and slow dry time. They also sell their products on Amazon which is nice! They have adjusted their instructions so you can have more of a high shine for their top coat but I have to try out their new method still. I believe it’s on their website and FB group though! I find them to be as durable as the other brands that I have tried 💖

I notice you have quite a collection of dip liquids. I’m wondering how long they last? I need low odour and I would Like to have a back up set but I don’t want to spend the money if they could go off before I open them. Thank you!
I usually use up all of my liquid in a bottle fairly quickly between manicures and swatching. But I have had a bottle sit for a year with no issues! I think as long as they are stored upright and out of sun it should be ok! I always keep back up on hand too 💖 I would totally reach out to that specific company though to see what the shelf life is 🥰
I tried the Beetles dip powder kit, it’s good except that the top coat smells like crazy glue. Does dip powder top coat always smells like that (different brands)? Can I use gel top coat instead?
Unfortunately, pretty much all of the dip powder liquids have that odor. I did try out Sparkle and CO’s low scent liquids and they are a great alternative! I didn’t care for the low scent top coat though because you can only do 1 coat. So you don’t get that high shine. But! It is a low scent option 💖 you can absolutely use gel top coat on top of dip powder! So after you activate, file/shape/buff, skip the 2nd activator. Cleanse the nails with rubbing alcohol instead. Then apply gel top coat and cure. IF you find that the gel top coat peels and doesn’t want to stick to the dip powder then try this… after you cleanse the nails with rubbing alcohol, apply gel base and cure. Then apply gel top and cure. Gel products like a rough surface and something to grab onto. So if you buff the nail smooth sometimes gel top will peel. But if you do gel base before it, then it will grab on. Hope this helps! 🥰

More or less how many minutes do you wait for the peel base to dry? I have to apply a base coat only after peel base and wipe my brush for every nail so that the brush doesn’t harden
@@NoraNora-ck6st I use peel base for easy pop off removal 💗 I apply it to my natural nails and then do the dip powder on top. Within 1-3 days my manicures lift and pop off. It prevents me from having to soak off my manicure in acetone. The downfall is my manicures don’t last long so it’s not good to use if you want longevity. It’s great if you change your manicures often though! Hope this helps 💗
Just so I’m understanding, the product is completely hardened within the bottle? If so, then I would definitely invest in a new bottle 💖 it usually means the bottle has been contaminated (could be from soo many things, excess powder, activator, oils from our skin etc). So when that happens it’s difficult to salvage it and maintain the integrity of the product

Beetles was the first liquid I tried I got a weird reaction from it, thankfully I’ve never had it with any others!

I definitely have to wait around 7-10 min for UNT to dry. It feels like forever 🤣😬

What if the bonding gloss dries completely is it a total loss for me?
