I love that white dress pattern - a collar with a lower neckline, perfect for me. Can’t wait to see how it comes out for you… I know the big 4 pattern companies repro patterns don’t always have a good reputation because they often mess with the fit and add loads of ease, which can be problematic…
I will definitely be checking for extra ease! That's a good point. It's going to be very interesting, with the mix of true vintage and vintage reproduction patterns I plan to use, to see the challenges they each present.
I thin you should do whatever and wea whatever makes you happy ( so long as it’s legal of corse). All your plans look beautiful. I hope they are all a success!
Thanks for sharing those inspiring patterns! 💃 I’m interested to see that you use a mix of actual vintage patterns and modern re-issues or re-styles. Do you have thoughts to share about the difference in sewing those up?
Oh, absolutely! I have used a couple of vintage patterns before, and it is a very different sewing experience! I'll definitely talk about how they compare on individual projects.
Burnley & Trowbridge is an excellent source for wool! Also Renaissance Fabrics. Both are online stores, but you can order samples. Finding real wool out in the wild is a bit more of a crapshoot.
Soooo beautiful! Looking forward to seeing the pieces made up!
Thanks! Me too, lol

I have many of these same patterns. So excited for your plans😊!

Classics, all. How did you like Butterick 6363? That's the only one I haven't made a finished garment from, yet.
@@LatelyFashionable I have only done view B w/o collar and half button down, love it...Need to try view A :)
This looks like a full year of sewing! I can’t wait to see the pink/purple dress. Very Tiki!
Let's see if I can actually stick to my plans! 😂

This is exciting. Where do you buy your wool fabric? I can never find anything good at the fabric store.
