This was so cool to see! I've been a huge fan of Hyde since his early L'Arc~En~Ciel days. For those who may not know, Hyde is considered a legend in Japanese rock music. To see him perform with one of my favorite American bands, SIXX: A.M., was brilliant to see. Even though English is not his first language and this song might have been a bit of a challenge for him, vocally, Hyde still gave an awesome performance. His voice & performance style blended pretty well with James Michael's and the backing vocals. I wish I could have been there to see this live or could have had the opportunity to see VAMPS on tour with SIXX:A.M. What an awesome moment in time! Everyone had so much fun too!
I love this version! The passion they show as a band, as a family, I love it. If you notice, Nikki is synced, and for the first time, so is Dj. Mellisa always brings it, not only with beauty, but with her voice, James' vocal coach. The way he is able to switch from alto, to falsetto , is incredible. Hyde, a nice surprise, showed much passion. Unable to match James vocally, he brought a dimension to the band, like never before. I am proud of them. Props to Sixx Am.
I'm never ever ever one to bash any musician but as a professional you need to hold yourself accountable as people are paying to see this. If it was a small local amateur band nothing should ever be said. But this is one of my favorite songs and the guess singer sounded like absolute trash. I'm pissed you call yourself a professional and delivered what sounded like someone torturing a cat to the fans who paid good money to hear which is arguably Sixx AM's biggest song. What a let down.
