Siccome sono un grande fan di Star Wars e mi piacciono molto i puzzle...non potevo non tentare questa sfida!!! 18000 pz !!! In questo video, potete scoprire in pochi minuti, alcune tappe di questo pazzo lavoro che ci ha tenuti occupati per quasi tutto il 2018!!! Ho deciso di fare un timelapse molto veloce per evitare di annoiarvi troppo! Buona visione!

@@dmaxsaint5895 it took us about 6 months to complete the puzzle ! we did it calmly. We recorded the time just out of curiosity, not to make a race! We often didn't care about the puzzle for many days!!! 😅

Hi Danny, thank you for your comment! I stapled cardboard in the wood structure, then i glued the puzzle in the cardboard and applyed the "Ravensburger Puzzle Conserver"! The frame has anti tipping system to avoid the falling!
Hey guys first of all awsome job in finishing puzzle. I just bought the puzzle myself. Ive got a question about displaying the puzzle. Do you have any advice? Like what glue did you used and how did you putt it against the wooden backboard.

The frame is made of wood and covered with cardboard! If i'm not mistaken it's a 3mm cardboard! Hope this help 😉

How much puzzle glue did you use for this puzzle? Even with enough glue to cover the whole puzzle, how will the puzzle stay attached to the wall without it falling apart?
Do not underestimate the power of glue 😉! If each piece puzzle has a bit of glue, it's enough! After 3 years and a half, it still on the wall !
Shame the bottom half ruins it. Other than that, nice job putting it together.

I also have finished the Puzzel with my Wife and we are still trying to find out how to geht it on the wall.
We are so scared that it won't hold.

This is freaking awesome i did a similair one but it wansnt 18.000 pieces mine was only 1000 pieces took me a small 17hours to puzzle it out lol

Hey mate quick question. How wide is the puzzle once its essembled? I know it 276cm. The thing is my wall where i want to putt it is 276.1cm wide. So im not 100% sure it will fit because of how the pieces connect to eachother. Could you do me a favor and messure yours?
Hi Dan, my puzzle is 276,5 by 192,5 cm ( only the puzzle, without frame )! I did my best when I glued it, to avoid gap between pieces but as you can see it's a bit more wide! With frame is 283,5 by 199,5 cm!

@@Dan-oo9jx when you finish the first bag you can do some stretch tests, to know how much the pieces move! You can also eliminate the bord perimeter and cover the second line with a sort of frame! I hope this can help you 😉
Hy there ! I have the same puzzle but I wish to hang it on a wall. Can you, please, give me a piece of advice how to do it ? To glue it with some special glue or it works with normal glue ? And how about the frame ? I wish to make it frameless . Is it possible ? Thanks !
Hi Antonio, thank you for your comment ! I glued my puzzle with white glue! I think it's possible frameless, maybe, first you can glue the puzzle on a cardboard and then hang it on the wall! But to be honest, I have no idea if it works! I never try that way!

Hi Sebastian, first, I controlled each single piece, if I recognized something I sort by character (Vader, Leia ecc...) and if I do not recognized something I sort by color and last by shape!

Hi Elle D , thank's for Your comment! The box includes 4 bags, each one with 4560 pieces and each one is used to make a quarter puzzle!
@@JorgeBricksmoreJBM Then you didn't do an 18k piece puzzle, you did 4 separate 4.k piece puzzles, which makes it about 10+ times easier. That being said, not everyone wants a super hard puzzle/challenge so I understand to some extent but I personally don't consider it a X amount of piece puzzle until I mix the bags before sorting. Still tho, not taking anything away, great job.
@@nadezhdaivanova6822 hi, each quarter puzzle have the same shapes, they are cut with in the same machinery! So you have 4 pieces with the same shape, it's possible to put a wrong piece when colours are similar! Better do one quarter at a time!
@@nadezhdaivanova6822 The puzzle box still says 18,000. It's the amount for the total picture and they still put together the entire piece. It's still a HUGE accomplishment to even complete the smaller 4k bags. This is not something you need to be so snarky and nit-picky about. Fantastic job @JBM - I have yet to upgrade my puzzle count from 1k to a 3k, but I've got a 3k waiting for me... :)

Hi. Great job. Well done. I have just completed the same puzzle myself. Took me a year. I'm trying to work out how to hang it. Can I ask what type of glue you used to stick it to the back board? and what type of material is the back board? I have large plastic boards but maybe I should use wood instead.
Is it a type of wood glue like PVA? Or is it an oil based glue? There is another video on here where a guy uses double sided tape for a large jigsaw but I don't think that would last. Thanks.

you could of had it done in half the time, with the Peter Kemp puzzle tactics.
