  • The past few weeks I've painted up two British and Commonwealth forces for wargaming using Warlord Games ranges to represent British and Commonwealth troops in the Italian theatre 1943-45 and the second for games based in the Far East and Burma 1943-45; to represent troops from the D-Day Dodgers and Forgotten 14th armies.

One of the dangers of historical wargaming is as follows. You have to snip that bayonet off the sniper's rifle if indeed he is a sniper. They never shot with a bayonet because it threw the rifle off. Also the spotter for the sniper only carried a pistol as he was not expected to engage, it would give the position away. That aside, very nice work on the paint jobs.

Hmm, may need to do some adjusting to the figure. Thanks for that. Easier to get away with it isn smaller scale :)
