How the heck did you come to the conclusion most of these guys died? The only ones that died were Ravage and most likely Megatron.
We never see if the others die or not. Grindor lost an arm. Devastator’s inside clearly weren’t destroyed. Starscream went chasing after whoever shot him. Ironhide, Sideswipe, and Ratchet clearly weren’t shown being pulled into Devastator’s mouth. Bonecrusher was blasted at, sure, but we didn’t see any body parts flying off, and all we saw of Sideways was him being beaten up by Bumblebee.
