Goshen Farm and Gardens it’s good stuff. We are lucky here in California that it’s mild enough that we haven’t had to shelter our pigs at all this winter. We’ve been following you guys since you were at whites house on the hill. We love this community and are working on our own RUclips adventure.
@@GoshenFarmandGardens That is so cool, I knew you guys were going on a trip to Colorado not long after you bought it, and I had lost your number and I had wondered how everything went. And if you still have the motor home, I hope it's treating you right!!
Would this structure be a good shelter for pig during winter ?! Im looking for an easy to build structure, might even consider to reinforce the dome and pour concrete on top then cover with soil ?! Im more into a permanent structure easy to build and functional during winter time
Since the 8' width of the tarp goes across the hoop and fits the panel perfectly, I'd say the panel is 8' long. He says the 10' length of the tarp goes from front to back.
Do you have a Pool company close? If you do ask for the old liners they remove from old pools. I have one I cover my lawn mower with At least 5 years old. . Will last a lot longer than those tarps.
Good concept, however-- the hogs will tear the tarp off, shred it and totally destruct the unit, within a week or two. Raised hogs for 40 years, but sorry, accept my critic. It won't last. Hogs are destructive. It might work out for weanling lambs or chicks, but hogs-- no way. Even the floor will be chewed and shredded. Pigs are destructive. Use 2x12 native oak planks on flooring, spiked to treated fencing poles and corrugated metal panels fastened to the hoop panels, even then, you really have to engineer the design to hog -proof the unit, sorry, but this won't last 2 or 3 weeks. Save your money and re- design this , hogs are powerful a

Great idea!! On another note, that looks just like the safari Sahara motor home we sold about 5 or 6 years ago to a family up near Kansas City.
That’s us! 👋

Great vid bud! "The Amazing Pigloo! Get yours today!"
That's right!! 😂
Is a tarp enough if it’s below 0 degrees??
At what length did you cut the cattle panel to whenever you put in on the base?
It looks like 10'

What are the tools you used?
