The more I see of this game, I'm convinced the premise was also lifted from the 11th century historical tale of Benkei and Yoshitsune. Benkei a giant brute of a Samurai and Yoshitsune a tiny Ninja that were opponents only to become allies. But now it's placed in the 16th century with race and gender swaps.
These developers seem hell bent on pushing their ideologies and wokeness for an audience that only exist in very small numbers, and in doing so Alienating their core buyers, then when a game fails they blame the very audience that they themselves are trying to exclude from their games, the only thing they want from core buyers is your money, Vote with your wallet.
Your gamers negative selection is really confirmed for example even by this miserable phrase “Vote with your wallet”, where you put your wallet instead of your brain and thus it becomes clear what is the underlying problem with you.

I'm in my upper 40's and have loved gaming since I was a kid, I have had it all over the years. Sadly, I have hung up my wallet for modern gaming other than playing my MMO, no more consoles, no more regular game purchases from me. Same for the movie / tv industries as well, they have lost a huge consumer in me and I couldn't be happier as the extra money in my pocket is helping pay things off faster :D Enjoy going out of business you crap activist devs!
