This guitar build is an incredible showcase of craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, standing out in a world flooded with mass-produced instruments. I’m absolutely in love with this guitar!
Daniel my man ,u are a absolutely brilliant guitar builder ,she looks and sounds beautiful, and ur trip from the template stage to the strumming of the first string man I love this whole build series and the live string,,brother u are awesome thank u so much ,I deal anxiety and depression and u made me see that I can rise when I fall
I missed the live stream as I was stuck in a meeting at work, but it turned out beautifully. I'd challenge any instrument manufacturer to even try to match the quality of the Phoenix - nothing is going to come close to this for a very long time. Well done Daniel, your skill is unmatched.
A beautiful result. It's amazing what one person, some wood, tools, creativity, expertise and perseverance can achieve. Thanks for sharing this journey.
Absolutely amazing work Daniel. You knocked it out of the park with this one. The top is absolutely stunning. I've been following along with the whole series and everything I learned in this will help me with my own luthier journey. I with you the best of luck and keep up the incredible work.
Daniel, your guitars are always beautiful and you have inspired me through your passion for building. I have now completed my third custom build and I tell you, I love building! It's challenging but it is my therapy. Thank you, brother! And continue on your journey...I will always be watching.
Hello Daniel, it has become a beautiful instrument. Craftsmanship at its finest. I really enjoy watching you work in your videos. Thank you for the great hours and the super detailed explanations. Please keep it up! I hope you will start a new project. Thanks Andreas
So good to see your happiness Daniel. Thanks for letting us share this journey with you. Exquisite craftsmanship. Looking forward to more builds from you in the future. The Phoenix has indeed risen!! Regards from Australia.
The story of the Phoenix is as important as the guitar itself - I hope that finishing it (and selling it) is bringing you happiness. I have a guitar project that stalled during the global lockdowns (hard to source parts as well as my own emotional issues during that time) and your story has gotten me inspired to finish it and remove the burden of it sitting in the corner. I have always liked the idea of the baby grand bridge - seeing it on your guitar really has me thinking I that I need to put one on a build.
That may be the nicest looking guitar I've ever seen. Been following you for a long time, you're creativity and workmanship is amazing and better than ever. Nice job Daniel!!
Stunning guitar! I really like how closely the angle of the harp bridge matches the tail of the body. This was a great ride ....I will always associate my Rising Phoenix T-shirt with the fun journey of this build. Thanks for your dedication!
The firebird shape I have to admit never really spoke to me, but this one is just insanely gorgeous. And the sound is so crisp and clean. Have a blessed Christmas Daniel and be safe.
You do such beautiful work! This shape kinda reminds me of the old Washburn A20, but streamlined for the 21st century. Thanks for sharing your passion!
I love Birds, but I really like how you’ve built this guitar ( wood , colour)… 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻 What you’re calling a pipe wrench, we call a Socket Wrench or if it’s combined into 1 , a Nut Driver. Daniel… I have a suggestion for you. Never set intonation by a tuner, that’s tuning by eye. Set your intonation using your ears, your ears won’t lie. Also, you should check intonation on all frets, referencing the octaves on each fret against other strings. 👍🏻
Hey Daniel, Omg! You have surpassed yourself! I already was impressed by your previous builds, but with this build you raised the bar even more. I may not be the fortunate one to buy it (haven't got the deep pockets) but would surely love to see it IRL. And play it of course 😊 I thought I heard you mention you have the intention to make a production guitar out of this one (on order) That would be really cool! Congrats on a great build! Kind regards, Floris Bekker, BekkerGuitar
Fantastic build, Daniel. Congrats! I learned a lot, thanks for sharing your knowledge! Tip: check out the Nut Slot Gauge by Music City Bridge. A great little tool to get the lowest nut action possible. Looking forward to your next build :)
There is no battery..... at least not one you need to replace. Just charge the battery pack with a USB charger via the USB port in the control cavity cover. A full charge will give you +/-250 hours of play time.
Looks top quality. Sounds bloody terrible though! Maybe you should have tuned it before the demo or set it up properly, or fixed whatever is wrong with it. Just saying…
This guitar build is an incredible showcase of craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, standing out in a world flooded with mass-produced instruments. I’m absolutely in love with this guitar!

She turned out lovely brother. Very nice!✌️&💙
Stunning guitar, and the work you put in it, it's inspiring. The pick-ups really have a convincing single coil sound when split.

My lord, that's a good looking instrument, mr Van Veen. Bravo. I mean, it's not a surprise but still, damn good job.
Amazing guitar, well done - like your videos a lot!

What an amazing guitar and journey! It is a real beauty! By the way…. I like my guitar set really low with jut a little buzz. 😊
Vakwerk Daniel, daar kun je met recht trots op zijn.
👌💜
No trussrod cover?
Amazing finish and sound ! Congratulation ! Normaly I always ground the bridge in my guitars. Did you missed that or it's normal ? ;)
Thank you very much.
Good point and well spotted.
For safety reasons I never ground the bridge.
Ewrything Ok ,but how to change the batery? 😂
There is no battery..... at least not one you need to replace.
Just charge the battery pack with a USB charger via the USB port in the control cavity cover.
A full charge will give you +/-250 hours of play time.
Thats very low action without buzz. That's 10k guitar or more.
