idk if you’re still having trouble but what helped me improve my wr inputs was realizing that the game isn’t looking for 3 evenly spaced forward inputs: it’s looking for a forward input during a dash so basically if you just focus on making the space between the 2nd and 3rd forward input take half as long as when you imputed dash then input, say, 2 right after for russian assault then you’ll get it every time
OH and you can buffer the first forward in a wr out of the end of another move which was a big game changer when I learned that. I think that also makes it easier to input a wr for some reason? for me anyways which is weird coming from someone with slow thumbs
What helped me the most, is that the speed at which you do the forwards don't matter, all that matters is that you input your 2 or 4, exactly 1 frame after the last forward
I recently started playing online Tekken for the first time a few days ago. On Tekken Tag 2 and Tekken 5, I have a pretty high win rate....Against bots. (Current record for tag 2 is 3080 wins with about 104 losses). I learned that playing against people are a whole new ballpark and they don't fall for a lot of my old tricks. I've played maybe 40 T7 matches online at this point, I've only won about 8 of them. Aside from Tekken 3, where my main was Jin, in 5, tag 2, and 7, My main was King, and I love the Convict kick to DDT. May have spammed it in my early years of playing, and I had actually gotten his reverse arm slam grapple chain down pretty good, the only chain throw I could do from start to finish. And, I also loved parrying every other kick from a Hwoarang with a countergrab. XD Since than, I've actually learned my way around Dragonuv, the basics of him anyway. And, the few combos I patched together against bots were pretty much ineffective against online opponents, and, to my discovery, extremely punishable. So, this helps a lot. These are much more damaging than the few I came up with.
I'm a dragunov main and I still cannot for the life of me do the sneak crouch dash cancel but I manage to get all the way up to emperor rank before the season 4 reset.
It's just one of those things that require practice bro. Execution wise it's not difficult, it can just be difficult to get the timing. I would suggest practice until you get the muscle memory. Btw what do you use pad, arcade stick or what?
@@Silverwind1989 Very nice! I'm a pad player too. What part of the sneak cancel do you struggle with? Is it connecting F+3 after a screw, or the up-input timing of the cancel?
@@Silverwind1989 A good practice that helped me was: launching with d/f+2, 1 ,F+3 up (to cancel), 1, F+3 up, 1, F+3 up, 1. Hope this helps you too! You can do it with enough practice
Nah it is a iWR4 cause it does more damage. The only way you get 60 damage on the f 1+2 normal hit combo is if you use the iWR4. Although the qcf 4 is easier and more consistent for less damage.
It is frame perfect I believe? If so it is very risky to pull off under pressure for me but I wish i could get consistent on this combo at 00:27 with ws4 , because the combo I use does 4-5 less damage which is significant
can't do combo on 1:20 consistently, drops at d+2 after iwr 4 most of the time (no problems otherwise), any tips? is it less consistent on smaller characters? I practiced on Yoshi
old comment but you can buffer the first forward input of ff3 as they are being launched, then just hit f3 as soon as dragunov recovers his animation from qcf2. Way easier than trying to time the entire ff3 input. Same goes for any of his iWR combos, you can buffer the first forward during any attack he does prior
I can't get the combo at 0:22 , according to this it's not combo. He can tech roll after the iwr 4. Can it be the timing? Cause I'm doing it quite fast and still can't manage to get it as a full combo
After rage drive hit grounded opponents you can Do DB3 (Lowest damage don't recommend doing this) QCF2, B1+2 and 1+2 ( 1+2 is pretty hard to hit and these 3 move do the same damage i think) And QCF1+2 (highest damage but you need to be quick or else it won't hit)
I'm sorry, is it even possible to make these combos? I do not know what kind of cyborg recorded the video, it is difficult with one ➡️➡️➡️4, but here this movement repeats, and even one after another, is it possible to do it at all?)
@@reubenreid7375 great but not necessary when. In a fighting game where timing is crucial I’d think knowing the optimal button input timing would be a vital thing to know. So if you aren’t gonna help just shut up.
