Damn! magic and leather working skills? Thumbs up!!
Ken
I used to do a lot more leather work. It's quite enjoyable. I'm still new to magic.
So...yeah...about that lighter...where can I pick one up?
You rock!!! Music was top notch. Great overall presentation!
Oh, it's just a regular lighter, the trick is in the hammer swing. It's all in the wrist.
Love me some leather! Awesome work Joe!
Thanks!
Lol the cutouts when you're playing guitar 😂😂😂
Thanks!
Nice work, Joe! I've been meaning to pick up one of the knife kits from woodcraft.
Thanks! It's a pretty nice blade, the only thing I didn't like was the finish, I sanded and polished it to make it shiny.
How useful!
I know! I can cut so many things now!
Very Cool knife and sheath .... made a knife not too long ago but I haven't done a sheath for it yet ..... too many projects in the pipeline :)
Thanks! I know how you feel. I had this blade laying around for 6 months before I started.
what about a drain hole? Don't you think it's necessary?
I don't see much need for a drain hole on this particular piece, the blade fits pretty tight so there's not a lot of room for water in the sheath.
@@JoePierceMaker I don't wanna be a pest, but what about when the knife is out of the sheath, in the rain??? It's not that uncommon you know...
True, however I probably wouldn't take this knife out in inclement weather. The resin scales are probably on the slippery side when wet. I have other knives with rubberized grips that are perfect for wet conditions. This knife is more of an every day carry sort of thing, if I were making a knife specifically for bushcrafting I'd most likely have a drain hole in the sheath.
@@JoePierceMaker To be honest, i asked you this because most, if not all, how-to videos for making this kind of sheath don't include a drain hole and i was curious why...
It's a good question. I think with the tight tolerances on this sheath any water that got in it would soak into the leather before it drained out anyway
