As a fellow Canadian, you do you. Take ALL of the time that you need. Don't compromise your family's mental and emotional health for a RUclips channel. Your "friends" on here will ultimately still be here WHENEVER you want to get back to doing what you do so well ❤

We are early 60’s (Australian) and will be travelling SEA full time in about a year or 2 from now and would like to know about cost of living, accommodation, eating out, visas etc. We are not interested in the Bangkok night life but appreciate those that do. More info on more of Thailand, the smaller places, the islands etc, all the best 👍

As someone who worked in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia and missed it so much, your channel has given me a needed fix of Thai culture. My vote would be to expand. Do more vids of life in rural Thailand. Exploring Cambodia, Laos, maybe northern Malaysia and Vietnam. The people are what make Southeast Asia so special. Deep dives into the daily lives of country and city people all around the region would be beautiful.

Keep it all under One Roof add one channel and do what you're inspired to do that week and I think a cadence of one to two videos a week is perfect and they can be varied between a day and the life and also videos that give tips on Thailand relocation but I think the best thing you can do is look at your Analytics and put videos into buckets and see what works best for your channel and let that drive you towards the decision to start a new channel in the weight that would come along with managing multiple France but regardless Chris please enjoy your break in career and come back recharged😊

Chris you're one of the hardest working and most interesting people on RUclips. The most rewarding thing that I've experienced in Thailand was getting up early and going to the Temple and to feed the monks. Every Temple has their own way of doing it and experiencing the communal meal that follows is a way to experience local Thai food. Most visitors to Thailand only visit the Temples later in the day and don't realize that if someone doesn't get up to feed the monks they might not eat. I understand that this isn't a popular suggestion but it's a wonderful feeling to experience. Thank you and my condolences to you and your beautiful family.

Why must another or outsider FEED the monks?

    • @southpaw1755
      @southpaw1755 Год назад

Monks only eat what's given to them. Local people who live near the monks come to the temple every day to make sure that the monks get their nourishment. It's part of a morning ceremony where the monks chant and pray. It's very beautiful and it's a good feeling to have fed the monks. Would you let your minister or pastor go hungry? @@man4YAWEH454

As a suggestion based on my opinion as you asked moving forward I think if you do in depth coverage of each province in Thailand, what to see, what to eat, where to go etc.. maybe a month in each province get down to the local level and get some local insight would be another huge amount of content you can keep pumping out, maybe should go on another channel. Just my opinion, cheers

Chris - when you come back I would LOVE to see more of your film-making, however my personal preference is to see the lives of foreigners in Thailand, houses that they are building, businesses that they are creating, I think the community you have built relates much more with these types of stories, and we can learn a lot from them. Also - please don't take your good vibe personality completely out of the frame, it is a huge part the channel's "it" factor. Chris, you have been a big Inspiration for me to start my own travel channel. So first of all thank you ❤. You really deserve the break and I can’t believe you are still posting 2 videos a week. Your videos are so well made that sometimes i have to rewatch parts of the video over and over again to understand what you have done. For example in this video, I loved how you were storytelling from multiple locations and loved the smooth and entertaining ride to Busan with your family. That edit was so beautiful. I have bookmarked it.
Anyway you asked for some advice so here goes:
    1. I feel you should drop to 4 videos a month. Instead of quantity double down on quality and depth which you are so good at.
    2. I think we will watch whatever you talk about.. the subject doesn’t matter. Your audience loves you and it has very little to do with tour topic i feel. Which brings me to #3.
    3. I think your power is your charisma and the way you do your story telling. If you could teach this to others many creators could benefit from it. Ofcourse you can do it in another channel which will have a very different audience. This will also give you a bit of diversity but also open you up to different audience, sponsors and partnership opportunities.
Lastly I am sorry for your loss. Please take care of your family. ❤️❤️❤️

So sorry for your family loss. Take time to unplug and spend time with your beautiful family. We'll all be here when you get back. Honestly, I enjoy all of the different topics you cover. I like that you change it up on the same channel, not sure multiple channels are a good idea. I enjoy the relocation videos since I'm thinking of moving to Thailand soon. I visited last year and have a trip booked again for November. I'm going to spend a full week in Bangkok this time and will use a lot of the information from your videos. Hope these thoughts are useful to you, hope to see you on the streets of Bangkok in November!

Condolences on your families loss. I will pray for you guys.
As far as content goes, I have enjoyed your videos and experiencing Thailand through your eyes. My only suggestion or request would be for more family touring content. I have 2 smaller children, ages 3 and 8. Seeing different parts of Thailand and seeing what we can do as a family with small children would go a long way to helping me convince the wife that it would be a worthwhile family trip. I have always been told that Thailand is an adult Disneyland, but I need to sell it to the kids as well!!
Thank you for your time. And I am SUPER appreciative of everything you have done so far!!

The day-in-the-life videos are brilliant and I would like to see more of them, as well as videos that go into more depth than the usual travelogues.

Thanks for all your efforts in putting out good quality videos. In response to getting some feedback on suggestions for the future of this channel, the videos I most appreciated viewing were the human interest stories. The one you did on the struggles of the Muay Thai gym employees in Bangkok as part of your "pay it forward" series, really got me interested in following your channel. These videos show what I feel is the real Thailand and not just a travelogue or restaurant/hotel reviews that many RUclips vids seems to try and capitalize on. I also liked some of your day-in-the-life videos (school teacher and food vendor) which provide in-depth details (from their perspective) on the lives of common Thai folks.

Would love to hear about the many ways and the process of staying long term. We are relatively fit retirees with adventure in our hearts. 🥰🇦🇺

I love videos that show everyday life in Thailand. I didn’t know how often you posted but as long as you can stay consistent any pace should be fine. Love the 15-20 minute videos. We sit and watch them as a family and dream about visiting.
