Intaglio Printmaking: Sugar-Lift Technique (Part 4/4)

This is the fourth video focusing on the process of sugar-lift for intaglio printmaking. In this video, the plate is submerged in hot water and the hardground is lifted away by the action of the hot water and the sugar-lift solution. After this step of the process is complete, an aquatint can be applied to the plate and etched to add a controllable tone to the exposed areas.
