The Wolf Among Us is an episodic interactive fantasy mystery graphic adventure video game based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series . The Wolf Among us season 2 was cancelled by Telltale .

Spoilers for the comic series, so just a heads up. If you don't want context for the events of the comics, wait and read them first. You've been warned, that's all I'll say.
That's sort of what happens. By the events of the comic series, The Woodsman, along with Feathertop and Mowgli are "tourists", basically lieutenants for the sheriff, to check up on those living outside of both The Farm and Fabletown are doing well.

I swear on a honest note, you can’t really be mad at Nerissa, I mean placing the heads of Faith & Lily on bigby’s doorstep, was the only way she could try to get his attention, she couldn’t talk about it. She’s so nice and helpful.
Not to mention, Gren and Holly and others have a point. Crane's way of dealing with things meant that people like them just went unnoticed.

There are various points in the game which hints to the head not actually being of the real Faith , of course the biggest one would be the revelation Bigby has during the ending scene.

Seems like everyone has really high expectations for Bigby considering that he's the only one who's supposed to police the entire town; no backup, and no support from the community.
To be fair Bigby is a demigod
And the fact that they (or at least the Butcher) don't report what's happened to them, then have the gall to ask, "wHeRe WeRe YoU!?", like he's supposed to psychically sense crime as it's happening.
Frankly it's a miracle the town was even stable enough to have a community with just one person in the police department.
After seeing a lot of this clips from the game I kinda wanna buy it.

Its funny how righr Collin is though, he wasn't exaggerating when he said that in order to fight monster, you need monsters, maybe not mentally but physically you'd need a monster to stop another, Both with Bloody Marry, the Wendigo, crooked man, and the rest. Bloody Marry being the exact reason though that makes Collins point, that you need a Monster to stop one.
If you choose to not rip off Gren's arm or kill Tweedle Dum, Snow's argument becomes a lot weaker. One of the choices, where he says he only does things in degrees, she has no counter to it so she just asks Colin if he believes that and he does.
Wendigo? If we're talking about Jersey, he does look kinda similar.
i wonder where Bigby gets his money for the cab, i mean he was broke ever since he gave Faith that 58 dollars and didn't take money from anyone (in ur playthrough i mean)

Not sure what kind of government structure the town using but the staff definitely too small. Bigby all by himself as law officer and there was three on administration ( Snow , Crane and that gargoyle ) while Bluebeard not sure what his job is . Most likely the Crooked Man makes sure that how it goes so the fables sooner or later have to look him up for help.
Bigby is basically the only Fable tough enough to settle all the problems in Fabletown. He's by far one of the strongest there is so he works as the muscle for the operation.
Buffkin isn't a gargoyle, he's a flying monkey from the Wizard of Oz, Also Crane is Deputy Mayor the actual mayor is King Cole.

Beast could probably at least help him a little, he has a transformed state that was able to go toe-to-toe with half werewolf Bigby.
Kind of disappointed Bigby is just a werewolf. I thought he'd be his own special creature given how he was such a big part of the fable stories.
To be fair, he's Lycanthrope more than Werewolf. He's full wolf, he just happens to have a human form and the two forms inbetween can be called Werewolf.
Bloody Mary outright says he's not a true werewolf. He's similar to one but that's it.
Hell his true form is a wolf the size of a bus.

He is the big bad wolf from fables,fables become also stronger by popularity of their story and because big bad wolf is like a pop star He us strong.there is also an anther motivation, but comic spoilers. He can turn in human without glamour because he was curse by werewolf curse but he is in fact a wolf

Been watching this like a movie, and I gotta say I'm really enjoying it. Only thing is, Snow White is kind of dampening my enjoyment every time she's on screen.
In the comics she marries Bigby. This story takes place before the comics, which is great. It also makes it feel canon.
Seriously. I played it straight after I admittedly roughed up tweedledee after catching him, but it seemed like nothing I could fucking do would be enough for her0

In the fable comics, the hanging man would proclaim prophecy’s that would also come true. Both good and bad for the people of fabletown. Perhaps in this case he’s a warning?
If I had to guess, it's a reference to the rumor that there was a hanging man in the background of the Wizard of Oz, turned out to just be a bird.

Bigby is a goat that struggles to protect fabletown All by himself and those idiots Don’t like it when he comes around blames him and says he doesn’t care first of all he’s the sheriff not a bank owner he doesn’t write the checks or owns the Business office that was all crane who didn’t give a damn about the ones in need he gets shot disrespected and bitched at the fables even snow who now the deputy mayor when she shouldn’t be I get it snow has a horrible sex slave to 7 dwarfs mother betrayed her her sister rose red messed around with her husband Prince Charming I get it her life was a total mess but that’s her problem not any other fable In fabletown has anything to do with that her past has nothing to do with Finding the crooked man if you need help in money situations or in need then it’s your job to help yourself not Bigby’s job crane could’ve help Grendel holly and all the others fable in need doesn’t give you the right crying like a little bitch at Bigby when he protects this city all by himself that’s his job period.

Bigby, who has been shot multiple times, jumped twice, almost killed and going on a goose chase around town: “We’re doing our best”
Snow, who has done nothing but bitch the entire game: “That’s not good enough”
Collin is the only one who points out how stupid it is to have Bigby go into a fight with a handicap. Plus he is the only one the cares about Bigby's health even when he's being a dick

Colin was right when he said they need monsters to fight monster, they’ve been trying to do it by the book and they haven’t really gotten anywhere, hell Snow telling Bigby to burn the tree is what caused Auntie Greenleaf to rat Crane out.
I feel that moment proves Snow is as much a monster as the Crooked man she threatens and intimidates to get her way Bigsby may turn into a monster during fights but she becomes drunk with power

Bloody Mary is a shit hole badass woman she is just like jet bean from killer bean who tried to kill killer bean
When Georgie said try looking in a mirror when Bigby asked him which Fables were fucked up, he was likely making a joke but you can also interpret it as him talking about Bloody Mary, easily the most fucked up Fable in the game. She's the only one Bigby kills on purpose, regardless of your actions, assuming the fatal wound on Georgie was accidental.
Soon as Bigby hits the final form, the whole town goes silent
What I like about choosing to keep colin from the farm is that it's like Bigby keeping him so he isn't alone in the apartment and help him stay on the right path and not be the monster the stories about him say.
I liked the subtle reference to "The Three Little Pigs". Bigby feels guilty for wreaking Colin's house in the past, so he lets him stay in his apartment as his roommate to atone.

Given that Colin won't arouse suspicion, unless he talks, there should be room for nuance. If he has to go to the farm, then you have to question why Bufkin gets an exemption. Working for the business office is no excuse, and he's similar to Toad in that he couldn't pass for a normal animal.
the fact that there's no blood curdling screams from bigby during the entire ordeal of the operation says a lot about his pain tolerance.
Going to the Butcher's first seems to be the intention, you seem to get better evidence there than going to the Lucky Pawn first and it's just more satisfying to get the shard after beating Jersey's ass.
what i like to know is, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO ALL THESE FABLED LANDS!? I mean from watching this, i get the feeling that their universe went through such a massive war that it might put both world war to shame. and surviving fabled characters from their own lands were relocated to this new territory to house while they rebuild their lives, but not everyone is receiving special treatment from what im seeing.
I have never read the Fable's Comics So the only way is to know what basically the character's were..

Bigby wolf= He is the original Big bad wolf from the red riding hood story as he met both her and The woodsmen (Woody), even he met Collin and possibly his two brothers as the three little pigs story..
Snow: She is as she was in her original time as snow white and the seven dwarfs..
Collin: He is possibly was in George Orwell's Animal farm (maybe it wasn't a fable maybe) but the possibility was that he had two brothers and they were killed by Bigby at a early life before this happened..
Bloody Mary: As her rumor and the story of her was on England she was queen Mary the 2nd as she killed invaders or assassins and decapitated them to send as a warning to any who oppose her, before her people killed her...

It's a whole universe where classic fables and not-so-classic or known coexists with some twists, like the woodsman was going to rob red riding hood and her grandma instead of saving them from Bigby or Goldilocks killing animal fables like Collin in the comic and then getting her head split in two with an axe by Snow, Also the comic is different from the game, like Mr. Toad is still "royalty" without a son
A bit of a late reply but to give a brief rundown on what happened. All the fables used to live in the Homelands which was basically where all the fairy tale/folklore people and creatures lived and then a character called The Adversary who's exact nature is known just that he's powerful, attacks with his army and conquers the Homelands which causes all the Fables to flee to the human world and create the underground community of Fabletown. There was also a pact called the Amnesty where they forgive everyone for any bad deeds they did in the past in order to minimize any potential infighting, all titles, lands and fortunes were left behind back in the homelands so most of the characters are basically poor. This ties into the inequal treament of some characters because the community is helped to kept hidden by wizards, sorcerers, witches ect. who charge a lot of money for their magic, the Fabletown government is basically entirely held together by donations and function on a shoestring budget so they can't afford to help every one who asks. I may be incorrect about a couple of details but that's more or less the size of it.

I read the fable comics on RUclips and that's exactly what happened to the fable's homelands. It was invaded by a warlord called the adversary.
