I simply cannot get enough of this performance because it puts on full display his showmanship plus his ability to TOTALLY engage an audience. And the fuller version, which others have told you about, is just sooo touching and heartwarming. Something I absolutely adored later, however, never fails to make me giggle...when Dimash explained in an interview that if he had known his dad was there, he wouldn't have been so "flirty/cheeky" with the audience! Hahahaha!! One quick small correction about the translation which we all know--there's a mistranslation of the word "my house is BUILT." It's actually supposed to be "DESTROYED." (It even sounds like a derivative of "destroyed" in English.) Also it makes more sense to the overall lyrics to the story. Thanks for another awesome reaction, my friend!!

This song is so good. The melancholy lyrics combined with a playful music is awesome. And those high-notes- parts referring to the howling wind mentioned in the lyrics. Fantastic song. And what a perfect song for Dimash. Such a shame he is not allowed to perform it anymore.

When you said after his first excursion into the stratosphere about "that note," I'm sitting here saying, you better buckle up, cause it ain't over!!! He didn't know his dad was in the audience, you see him at your 6:02 point, the guy with the glasses. I often wonder if he had been quite so playful if he had known his father was in the audience. This is like way out of character for him, he's normally pretty reserved in his performances. I really think if I could sing, that after hearing his first performance, SOS on the show, I think I would have thrown the towel in... I've listened to the original one by Vitas, it really sounded kinda flat after listening to this one. Anyway, good job, glad it gut up. Anxiously awaiting your next Diana and Dimash reviews.
