I agree. The highest aspect of God is love and there are different degrees of love, where love of Nation is closer to the ego on the spiritual scale and should be tended to carefully. I feel humanity has a responsibility at minimum to preserve its humanity.

I like Osho on many things but to consider responsibility to yourself higher than family, community and nation is as wrong as it gets. That's just selfish and egotistical obsession with yourself and You cant spread proper responsibility to all humanity in a life time, not even in 10. We would have achieved it a long time ago if that was the case.
But you can easily destroy your family and nation in 1 life time. In less than half of 1
If Osho wanted to plant a basic seed, he should have started with his own family and nation. But alright, he was another guru that got corrupted by wealth, sex and power. There is wisdom among his words but there is also an equal amount of bullshit for his own benefit, and this 'teaching' is 1 of the latter

Yogi Bro here, is nearly completely incorrect. The only thing he got right - was that war and killing is terrible. The solution to fixing war and killing, is to teach people to try to disprove themselves. 90-95% of people go through life, trying to disprove others, instead of disproving their own ideas. They cannot change by disproving others. Only they can prove themselves wrong, and no one else can. So, more curiosity, more introspection, and no dependency upon ideas to define yourself. These things will kill bad ideas. -- what he preaches sounds like the same thing the Tibetans preach, and they are currently slaves to the Communists in China.
A Nation is not a piece of land on a map. That is ridiculously insanely moronic. It is a people. Not land. A nation, is a people, and its inventions, customs, and creations, are downstream of the people. A commitment to your nation, is a commitment to your people.
The solution, is not to kill your commitment to your people, but question why you believe what you believe. So you are being told to fight a war, to protect your people? And perhaps this war is unjust? Or perhaps you think it is just? Well, in what ways could you be wrong? Build an argument for the other side, wonder, how might I be wrong, to want to join the war? Then do it again, and again. Until you cannot destroy the idea.
