Leave a comment for the all-mighty Algorithm please!
No!
all hail the Algorithm
this is nice
man this should of been longer 1000%
This video is criminally underrated
Love that you went more accurately to the source material this time. But your liquid cooling takes it to an even greater level!
My favorite cyber deck built! I love how you adapted so precisely to the novel!
This is the coolest build I ever saw.
Thank you!
That looks nice. No unnecessary RGB
RGB is always necessary, how else would I drive my PC at night?
Awesome build. Please make longer videos, i would love to see more of what went into making this build, the ups and downs ect. Thanks !
Ayo my man came through wit the Edward from cowboy bebop joint💯
Excellent! While being liquid cooled seems to buck the portability element of a cyberdeck, the aesthetic and spirit is on point, and gaming on the couch with it proves, that while not portable with batteries, it's more portable than expected with potential for adding that later. Protecting the loop would be the concern, but with a lid similar to a sewing machine or older typewriter, that caveat can be overcome as well. Beautiful build, and this would be one of the commercial grade cyberdecks vs. slum grade, which is quite impressive to showcase the aesthetic of. A+
But I ain't one to gossip... .
Super cool, I've often thought cyber decks need to be paired with googles (or glasses)
Very slick build! Water cooling looks great, and I love the glasses 😎
what game you played in this video?
Just need a 3D printed Cybervisor case for the glasses.
Thank you for the content! Amazing project and very well explained. About the video production, I recommend normalization of the voice because of some volume changes through the video.
thanks for the feedback. I did do 2dB of normalization using Audacity, but I guess that wasn't enough
@@CarterHurd Thank you for the answer!
Maybe you could try -1dB normalization and adding "Loudness Normalization" too if you see fit, plus keeping the microphone distance almost constant from you whenever you can (it doesn't matter if it's a phone mic).
This definitely won't stop your RUclips channel in any way, incredible content as always.
that looks like an engine in the best possible way
Totally resonate with the layabout gaming mentioned at the end as it's my favorite; using a logitech wireless keyboard and thumb mouse laying on a convertible "bean" bag\bed, my TV Monitor only a head tilt away a debatable downgrade from the recliner.
now you just gotta make a brainjack
Seems like a really good start, but it doesn't seem finished to me. I hope you continue to work on this project and refine it!
Dude, you are my future self I am now in engineering because of you. Keep up the Good work
That thing looks so cool
Pretty sick.
Awesome job bringing this to life
Seems like a glasses setup would be the ultimate cyberdeck. Because you'd never have to worry about how to cram an adequate monitor into the deck. The monitor would always be large, cause it would be in the glasses.
Just waiting on a solid set of glasses that i enjoy for mine 🤷
That was incredible
tbh, XReal Air are insanely good hardware-wise and i use them as dumb display. i couldn't get accelerometer data off them. would be cool to have head tracking in my own software. you can get it to switch to stereoscopic 3d BTW.
The xReal Airs can track your head, you just need software on your PC. Depends on what system are you running, but there might be some 3th party solution. Official Windows app was in public beta at somepoint but now is nowhere to be found. Macos and Android versions useable. But if you are on linux and willing to spend time to do it, you can absolutely make multiple virtual screens work. Other than that very nice and stylish build. 👍
This is beautiful.... Good job man!
Thanks a lot!
O-VER-CLOCK! O-VER-CLOCK! O-VER-CLOCK!
AWESOME work
Great idea!
Check out the movie Existenz from 1999 for a similar Jack In concept.
I was about to give this video a thumbs down because I thought I was tricked into watching a 15 min video of some bs but I'll watch a 3 min video of some bs. Good on ya for knowing what you're doing and knowing when what you're doing is for the lols so there's no point in having an hour long video for some 3 minutes of content. You're a real one bud. Good on ya. The bar is very low right now.
the NEBULA app lets it tack movement
show the project you have the purple spider please
now create some kind of clear cover for it and its perfect :D
Awesome Build! what keyboard are the Oil Kings on? with the purple/blue and yellow keycaps that thing looks wild haha.
Plays games with his heart on DnD
That's epic and dope 🤯
love the look and feel.
real cool. keep it up
I want to replicate this 😮
fkn awesome, noice build
another great upload! im inspired!
links for the parts used? i would like to look into the glasses display... nvm i looked it up, i'de rather buy a quest 2 lol
yeah, the xreal/nreal glasses are a niche product. Maybe one day they will be ready for prime time, when they are closer to $100
are any of these VR not VR screen glasses actually good? I have a small PC and this would be a cool addition
The display itself is actually very good. It’s just kinda weird that it doesn’t track with your head motion… kinda makes me sick if I don’t keep my head very still
How did you wire up the AR Glasses to the PC? does it have a USB-C video output, or did you need any sort of adapter or external hardware?
This is really something i haven't seen before so im really surprised with this!
oh and where can i contact you my address for the giveaway?
Hi! Email me at carterhurdrobotics@ gmail. com with your shipping info and a screenshot of your RUclips account to prove that it's you reaching out. Cheers!
ah yes. reasonable. good job Carter
Whats the res on those glasses?
so cool! :)
I saw that you have had business with protolabs and was wondering if they had SLM 125 HL or knew of a prototyping lab that did. I have tried looking myself but no one i have found lists the machines they have only what type of prototyping they do. I am looking to create a multi alloy part for my design but do not know which mixture is most suitable for efficanct, performance, and cost yet, only a theory.
I don’t know off the top of my head. I’ve found that you need to email customer support for questions like this, and often times they’ll direct you to an internal engineer or tech who can give details
@@CarterHurd ok, thank you.
COOL
Glad to see you fine like wine Carter!
What were the glasses you used ?
N-Real (now called XReal) Air 1
you need a longer cord bruh....
dear all-mighty Algorithm please get this video to everybodys front page
Cool build man! How do you turn it on tho?
There’s a little button on the motherboard. And the PC turns on separately from the pump and fan (which turn on using the knobs)
epic!

I gave a like, but only for the gameball trackball mouse in the end! 🤣🤣🤣
😁👍
Sick video but I miss the HUD elements from your earlier cyber deck build :( Although I guess you got people saying they didn't like those?
Awesome use of the glasses, really makes this one cool and unique.
everyone: wearable screens!
me: please can we just have ONE input device that doesn't require complete focus with my hands or a desk?
Pretty awesome. Considered maybe using something Quest3 mixed reality mode with VirtualDesktop? Bigscreen Beyond is more cyberpunk aesthetic and lighter, but it doesn't really work out of the box.
These videos are always so sick!
Looks fucking amazing!
The keyboard needs to be a holographic projection
