The reason there was no sunset timeline could be that the crown would've never existed in the firstplace

Also there are other reasons too.
1. Starlight didn't knew who she was until Mirror Magic
2. Starlight only created those timelines for Twilight since those villains are the ones she knew about.
3. Hasbro doesn't want to cross over both the series, hence why we only got Sunset Shimmer as cameo in the finale instead of physically appearing.

My Theory on the very dark timeline where everything is dead is that it comes from the episode: Dragonshy (Season 1, Episode 7). Where essentially the dragon would "cover equestria in smoke for 100 years", but then fluttershy stopped the dragon, in the other world no one would go to the dragon and succeed, so I think that the last timeline was caused by the dragon since no sun would mean that all the plants would die, and thus since ponies eat the grass they could have all starved to death.

But in the Nightmare Moon timeline, ponies seem to be doing surprisingly okay despite the lack of sunlight. While the dragon might be responsible for the desolate timeline, I don't think it's because smoke blocked the sun. Plants in Equestria are already known to work differently than real life (one of the things that makes the Everfree forest so scary is that plants can grow without ponies' help), so maybe they don't need sun. Maybe in Equestria, magic is in the air in the same way as oxygen and nitrogen, and plants can get energy that way.
Alternatively, maybe the lack of sunlight _did_ kill the plants in the desolate timeline and in the Nightmare Moon timeline she was able to use her magic to let plants grow without sunlight.
@@violetnocte I've a better theory on why the last timeline is nothing but an empty wasteland. Because it was a result of all the villains. I'm not saying that in that alternate timeline, all the villains teamed up and overthrow Celestia, but instead they went on war against each other. Maybe all the villains came, and had an epic war with each other. This is how it happened.
On the 1000 moon anniversary of Nightmare Moon defeat, she finally return to Equestria to cause forever night. She made it clear that she'll overthrow her sister, Celestia, but when she comes toe o toe with her, but instead of her sister, it was a changeling disguise as her. This being Queen Chrysalis, the two fight off, and unaware to them, they hear a menacing laughter. This being of a formal king, and his fallen empire. When then get an epic war between Nightmare Moon, Queen Chrysalis, and King Sombra and all their armies fighting against each other. This cause a lot of chaos, allowing someone to be freed from their stone prison. Discord. Now freed, he joins the battle against all three armies. But just relies on his chaos magic to do all the work. Meanwhile, the real Princess Celestia is now overwhelmed, with four powerful villains in Equestria, she won't be able to defeat them.

She believes that if she got all four villains together in one spot, she might be able to use the elements against them. But to do that, she needed reinforcement, lacking enough guards and soldiers, she went to Tartarus to get Cerberus to help in their time of need. But unfortunately, she unwilling release another threat. When she took Cerberus and didn't leave someone behind to guard Tartarus, this allow Tirek to be freed. And was able to get most of his strength very quickly. Now there would be five powerful villains in war. They would all come together to settle this once and for all. All three of King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Nightmare Moon army would be busy fighting against each other, while all five of the powerful villains would against each other personally. This gave Celestia her opportunity to use the elements against them, but one of the villains would notice Celestia about to use the elements, and suggest that they combine all their magic and power together to defeat her. And they all agree. All five of them combine all the magic they got against Celestia, who also use the elements magic against them, this cause an explosion that wiped everyone out. Not just villains and their armies, but also Celestia, her army, and even any innocent that got caught in the cross fire. This leaving Equestria nothing but an empty waste. And the rest is history, literally.
with this logic, doesnt it mean that it should have been nightmare moon in every single timeline since shes the first one to interact with the main 6 and the elements from the past? the other villains, zecora and their cutie marks should not have existed??
Lots of things could have happened though, like Tirek taking her power, Discord getting rid of her etc, I think it depends on how nightmare moon handled them in each timeline
The element of harmony wasn’t a crown if the rainboom didnot happen that means the 6th element hasn’t been revelled and sunset shimmer can’t have it

This may sound crazy but I think that map of the wasted land and abandoned map that twilight took starlight to is what starlight could have done if she had not failed and succeeded her plan of the main 6 never meeting. That's what would have most likely happened if the main 6 never had met. That's all I assume, but idk if it's true or not😅. Hope this helped.

How though? Without Twilight being a princess and going there, I'm not sure Starlight had much plan for getting her no-cutie-mark philosophy out of the middle of nowhere. How would that even happen?
That's my theory too!! Plus, with everyone being equal and not any productive work probably being done, it's the most realistic possibility
and if that timeline was if she successfully prevented something but for a different reason like one of the villains stopped her plans to make everyone equal (likely Discord) so she prevented the villain from being released by turning them back to stone somehow the second they broke out
What is the bear AU was actually a timeline where Daybreaker and nightmare moon fought against each other and ended up accidentally destroying the planet and each other by sending the sun and the moon to the planet this might’ve been like centuries after that, so the place was you know no longer lava it’s now like a barren wasteland, but I am thinking that since every pony is probably dead and since the sisters are supposed to be immortal, then I’m guessing that they just had a very large war and it ended up killing everybody because the sun in the moon aren’t there and there are a bunch of clouds in the sky and somehow they’re able to breathe. I don’t know I’m just coming up with the apocalypse
It Hass to be true how to get the elements of harmony so she could be stronger than everyone except twilight in the main six held twilight in the human world so her friends can team up with her if twilight didn’t have any friends, she would’ve been defeated by now or we call it the magic of friendship.

If the 6 didn't exist then twilight's wouldn't have gotten her element so sunset couldn't have had a timeline but she wouldn't have the element
Wait wait wait hold on. Actually, I don't think evil sunset would exist. Cause the element of harmony was rediscovered because of the mane six. And twilight was the element of magic, so in this case, twilight would've never met her friends, no elements of harmony rediscovered, and no sunset stealing the crown
Well, that just proves she wouldn’t steal the crown. That doesn’t prove a lack of evil Sunset entirely. She would still have been in the human world being the bully she was, though I’m not sure if she would have come up with another plan or not. Maybe she would resign herself to conquer the human world or something, idk. What do you think?

Actually, now that I think about it, the portal would be reopen after Nightmare Moon's return and after Chrysalis's takeover. In which storyline would Sunset have a better chance of a plan in? What would happen if Sunset tried to come back in either of those storylines? Curious.

One thing, the crown would’ve never been found in the first place due to 2 reasons: The Crystal Empire would have never been restored + Twilight would not have been a Princess to begin with for Sunset to realize and take the element of Magic in her own world
Theory why we didn’t see a time sunset succeeded: since the rainboom brought them together in the first place and starlight stopped it. They wouldn’t have been together but twilight discovered the magic of friendship and the sixth element of harmony the reason why we didn’t see a time that sunset succeeded was because sunset needed the element of magic to become demon sunset without twilight finding the sixth element, sunset wouldn’t have had the element she wanted so we didn’t see a time that sunset succeeded.
My theory of the last time line where everything is dead was what who’d actually happen if the main six whodunit have met. the original time line! I think that all of the villains except for sunset, starlight, and cozy because they whodunit have been evil at the first place in that time line probably all wanted to roll equestria and fight I’d over it and from that they by mistake disappeared equestria

Even if she hadn’t of been able to use the element of magic, she would’ve been able to get to the others but they wouldn’t of worked without the sixth remember what Celestia said or maybe it was Luna when she said the other elements doesn’t work without the sixth meaning, they wouldn’t have worked without the sixth element even if the main sixth net came to be who says somebody else couldn’t of what if Daybreaker came into existence in this round well, none of us ever know if she even existed who’s to say, without the elements of harmony, nightmare moon was defeated by somebody more powerful, who says that wasn’t Daybreaker that nightmare force could’ve taken over, Celestia, giving her the ability to be Daybreaker and that is how that timeline existed

What is a spark for the elements wasn’t just one particular spark. What if there was different sparks for the different pony that came across sunset could’ve went there and do her spark and actually and actually get a time line but maybe I starlight glimmer actually made her time line but twilight didn’t go into it because she defeated starlight before her. She can send her in and it’s possible that she could’ve had her own timeline and that this is actually kind of not be post to be in the video on the video.
