- I did convert this from the Director's Cut DVD that I own, and I do believe that I am the first one to have uploaded this on RUclips (or anywhere else). I hope that the video quality is good, if not.. I really don't think I can do much about it.

So I recently found out that I work with Ben's sister-in-law. She's like, "Marianas Trench? My brother in law, Ben, does their music videos." And I laughed to myself out of awkwardness over Matt's creeper story about him. Debating whether or not to show her the clip from this lol

I don't ever remember them saying that they did the contest because they wanted to redo it. I think they had a contest just to involve the fans more and do something different. Carly Rae Jepsen has done GTY in concert, so it's not like they could only use Kate on stage. They may have brought her back to rerecord it because Kate didn't want to/couldn't do the video, but I don't think the original intention of the contest was to rerecord the video.

Well, Jessica won the concert contest, and I think that they wanted to release the song and I think the thought of bringing back Jessica because she was somewhat of a "crowd" favorite was somewhat in their minds. I believe Josh said it in some interview, maybe the one with Sarah Taylor for Much Music? It's floating around RUclips somewhere probably haha
Then: 'Yeah, you don't want to hear me sing.' - Really Matt? I'm pretty sure I died during the Bad Girl video, and cried during 'Goodbye Addict'. New favourite cd is Coda and Jacket.
Now: 'I'm a terrible guitar player.' - Okay Matt, you need to stop putting yourself down because you're awesome and I love you. You're an awesome singer and an awesome guitarist.

I know, but Kate was the one they originally recorded with, and on the behind the scenes video, they said they had to rerecord it, so they held the contest. Did they rerecord everything because Kate couldn't go to that concert?
