I agree with the reasonings you gotta. Of course all tiers can change when deck building evolves to counter popular builds but generally I’d agree. I think goku black is so much more consistent than it has ever been and hit that god roll pretty easy so I’d place it high even into green. Androids is a beast once it gets that 4 drop down and can put out crazy pressure with like 3 bodies a turn swinging 20k-25k so I’d put that up there higher also with frieza. But it’s all matchup depended right so I get the justification. I like gohan into the new format because it’s much faster than it used to be and has an answer to yellow in that 3 drop goku. Think that’s gonna be my sleeper deck bro.
Well said, I like Gohan as well, but mannnnnnn that Ginyu package will lay him out T_T. 20k Leaders just have to try so hard to survive vs the Ginyu package and its rough
New to this game. Enjoy your vids. I jus started playing. Bought a box, 8 packs, frieza starter, and built a frieza deck on tcgp that's on the way. We have a local shop starting this weekend with DBZ, so hopefully it picks up. Gonna reserve my FB03 boxes today.
I'm glad you're enjoying the content. Best believe I'm going to continue the trend, but I'm glad you're diving into the game, if you need anything just ask!
It's funny how the the tables have turned. Beginning of set 2, most people called the worst tier the Ginyu tier. Now bottom is Topku tier. But keep up the good work. Love listening to your explanations.
The deck pinning down the rest of the format being gone will do that haha. Highkey though red getting hurt like it did went a long way T_T And thanks haha I'll keep it going!
I LOVE Yellow Vegeta and I agree! Honestly though, if Blue is running proper removal, it comes down to how much Ginyu Package you draw vs their Galick Guns and Sickles imo
@@UniXTCG true. But theres ways to play around it. Dont drop the gokus till u need too. Also using goku to lock the pilafs is one of my favorite things hahaa
I'm gonna keep it a buck with you. Very few people actually test with more than what they like to play. So I'm very confident in the placements here and try to go into detail on each one.
@thekillercub274 Beerus struggles vs Blue and often is slow enough to let Green stabilize. It is most certainly not. Also Yellows highroll obliterates Beerus
@@UniXTCG yah blue is beerus worst matchup forsure but I’ve played beerus into plenty of yellow and your completely wrong beerus owns yellow pretty hard, I could show you anytime I can tell you haven’t played the matchup
@@thekillercub274 I didn't say Beerus is bad into Yellow. I legit said in the video that Beerus plays well into Yellow. I said it has some issues into multiple popular decks that are in the format. So it's not higher on the list. Every single deck in this format has a terriblely lopsided matchup vs at least 1 deck. Beerus has multiple so it's not going to be higher imo
@thekillercub274 also, what is Beerus doing to 3 consecutive Recoome into Ginyus? You legit cannot do much to clear that accumulating board until after the 3rd set has fallen. And by then you've taken how many swings?
Zamasu can be forced to flip early than he wants to and then it becomes a problem. But if he can hold out his awakening until hes higher on energy he does play very well!
@@UniXTCG Then my frieza list has a problem because it can't beat the 25k leaders. What do you suggest? And then I'd like to play Blue Vegeta (not the yellow one) but never win against green
@mohamedhennaoui7087 the issue is how many bad matchups you have. 20k leaders (especially green) are very weak to 20k Yellow spam. But Green is also fairly weak to Red aggro as well
@@UniXTCG 17 is just as weak to yellow as frieza is to blue, droids playstyle is too different to be generalized as just another green deck. You could see in the Mana vortex finals how much pressure droids were putting on frieza, despite him being their literal worst matchup (and im pretty sure he missed the t3 DS but he might've had it and chose not to play it). Also green in general might be weak to red aggro but 17 is way too fast to care. Not to mention you still steamroll any blue deck in the game.
@@Phospholazuli I'm actually very surprised but I'd have to see the matches. Yellow, if running the Ginyu package doesn't need to awaken. You can literally just play out your cards and use bulma to play more and just force cards out of your opponent's hands. That being said, 17's main pivot from another Green deck is their turn 4, which can either play 17 & 18 into a 2 cost 18, a 3 cost 17, lab or Destructive strength. Their turn 4 (Turn 3 if going second and seeing DS) allows them to play 2 bodies. This is not typical of a Green deck but also does not clear up the hole that Green has against yellow from my testing.
In my opinion, I think Cell should be moved up to wild card atleast. His endgame is just so toxic, that he can somewhat stand his ground, and can get free units, through Cell Jr's, and recycling Meteors, and earth shatterings.
I deff agree with his late game. I think I even said it. It's just that he really does the least amount of things for those first 4 of so turns while an Red or Yellow deck can just turn everything they play sidewise to line up death T_T
I agree but there's just so many cards to prevent him from getting there. Been playing Zeno Blue with Vegeta for a while and I seem to not struggle with Cell or Broly's, even though Androids throw me in the trash
Beerus in Competetive is a joke. Its the most balanced deck. Only Blue Vegeta can destroy him. The others have to play very skillfull to have chances. Every yellow deck will be defeated in under 15min against beerus
Beerus has a MUCH better Yellow Match up than U7, and it has an excellent Red mirror, but it's less aggressive leader effect than U7 gives Green a better shot of stabilizing on him, and Blue as a whole is advantageous vs him. So that's that. If a deck has more than 2 bad match ups I leave it in competitive.
@ronin5402 I loved the comment but must let you know that I cannot love the message, you on discord? We can deff chat as long as you're OK with me responding when I have time : o
Glimpse is overrated imo, in this format if your playing someone competent your not gonna have 2 energy to spare on a swing it’s a luxury/noob stomper card
@thekillercub274 glimpse on a 1 drop frieza is a 50k swing for 3 energy AND you get back a card. I don't think this take is correct. But time will tell.
@@UniXTCG as someone who’s played 100s of games with red im telling you against a good opponent you won’t have the opportunity to play glimpse and if you do it’s usually the wrong play
@thekillercub274 No offense, but I'd definitely say it's wild to assume that I've played less or that my testing circle is not valid. But always open to hear your thoughts. I'm just saying I do no not speak on things I haven't tested with as well as tested against. Glimpse is best used one 1 drops, potentially 2 drops unless you're pushing for game
It's not about what he can do. Technically Cell is a more dangerous deck once he hits 8 energy than pretty much any other Green leader, its Broly not getting clapped by the same stuff that blows up the other 3 Green leaders
I won 3 Ultimate Battles with my Cell-List. The one i did not win I tried Androids. Ok here we have a strong Blue Meta which helps and I had not much Yellow and Red to face but I still think Cell can easy Top and I hope I can show it a the regional upcoming weekend.
