Even if she was a Village girl the Lin family and that Bai guy should have actrd like decent Human Beings. Once she became President of a powerful Company, that automatically elevated her status and gave her connections - no matter how she got the job. Yet they kept treating her like crap and bullying her. The smart move would have been to apologize and ignore her or try and make ammends. This evil family is stupid beyond belief.
I just can't with the evil girlfriend. She caused all of this, along with the MIL and them screwed them. Old adage - lie down with dogs, get fleas apply here. And ML running around saying "who did we offend" and "I'll come back if you let us go.." How narcissitic and tone deaf is he?
I have mixed feelings about this "movie". I didn't finish the whole thing, but what I didn't like the most was the constant back and forth of trading insults. It gets massively boring and it gives me a headache when I listen to 5+ minutes of dialogue saying she or he is or is not that person or did such a thing. It gives me a headache to hear the constant bickering, which is why I was fast forwarding several of the scenes because the bad people's scenes were annoying to hear, the bickering was eye numbing, and I just wanted to get out. One of the few things I liked about this "movie" was that all of the brothers are supportive and super nice to her. I just would've maybe wanted her to have a love interest for real, but that wasn't the purpose. Overall, I'd give this one maybe a 4, maybe a 4.5 if I'm being nice. I MIGHT watch again, but not one of my favorites that's for sure.
I'm so sorry, but the actress playing Lin Yanran cannot act convincingly, if she tried hard enough. It's so fake. Again, I'm so sorry. It5just my opinion. I apologize if you disagree.
