Does orientation of the horn matter? Can you install the horn with the horn outlet facing the front of the vehicle? Or would the horn be in danger of getting water into it through it's outlet?
Gives people options based on what they are comfortable with, removing the bumper is daunting to some subscribers. And others prefer to remove the bumper, they can both work successfully. Thanks for watching!
@@zoomgas2803 I hear you, I just literally removed my bumper again today for the 2nd time to install some fog lights and a new set of horns couldn’t deal with the meep meep, and it’s so unbelievably easy to remove but I guess for me I’m more of a handy guy so these things come pretty easy to me I love taking things apart and putting it back together I can see how for some ppl this may be more of a challenge great video though👍🏼
Literally just ordered them let’s see how the install goes
You are going to love the sound! Thanks for watching!

I attempted this upgrade (with different horns), only to pop the horn fuse. Did you disconnect your battery during your install?
I did not, but that is always a good best practice to follow. Thanks for watching!
Thats weird, did the other horn not go off when you tested the first horn upgrade?
When I tested the first horn, the second one was still the oem(meep meep) horn. Thanks for watching!
So this might work for a civ like a 2017?
Yes, I did a similar upgrade to my 2013 Accord. Thanks for watching!
Oh yeah now I understand. So the dual horn in the crv is the same and just remove them and install aftermarket horns.

If you face it forward, it should be forward/downward, so any moisture can drain out. Thanks for watching!
It’s so much easier with the bumper off and you save your hands from scratch’s 🤷🏻♂️
