Not sure what your generation is but I'm 18 and I'm not sure this is accurate. My generation has an attention span that's about 3 mins long, and the second something gets boring, we're out. My high-school ended all contact sports my 3rd year and not a single student protested it. If I tried to organize a Free Palestine protest, I couldn't even call it that bec most of the students would only show up bec they think they're getting something free and have no idea what Palestine is. They'd leave as soon as they realize they ain't getting a Palestine.

The fact that Israel murders innocent men, women, and children. The fact that Israel lied about 40 babies being beheaded. The fact that most of those killed on October 7th were soldiers. The fact that the "innocent" elderly Israeli's killed by Hamas were participants and "veterans" of the Nakhba. All of these are facts, and I could go on and on.

In Indonesia, Orde Lama has changed into Orde Baru because of the students protest. We call it Tritura/Tiga Tuntutan Rakyat or Three People's Demands
The president at that time was forced to retire, and he did.
Until nowadays, the student protest is still effective in Indonesia. Some government policies have changed because of that. Example:the rising price of fuel in Indonesia.

Im actually very impressed that there is some hope for Americans to show that they actually do have a good moral compass... I agree that they need to protect Israel but it can not be by giving them a blank check and do whatever you want attitude.. The US should be strong arming Israel to stop the Illegal land grab that has been going for decades now, that is making it even more difficult to achieve peace in that region.
The best part of all this is that these young people will take control of the country soon, there is hope for a better future for everyone.
