What a beautiful melodic piece of music, with lyrics that cover a million or more real-life stories. My heart goes out to all those amazing women who changed themselves beyond recognition, just to please their lover, only to find themselves trapped in a cage from which only realisation,and changing their mindset, enabled their escape. The strength required to break free of a scenario that has built itself around you, is almost unimaginable, but somehow, some way, we can all reach deep inside our very soul, and painfully, yet silently, slip away to freedom. Whether this brings immediate happiness, is debatable, but although brainwashed from what you’ve escaped from, at least you’ve rediscovered yourself, and that now you’re at the helm, not someone else, and that taste of freedom is so sweet.
