A tip for Google maps fish searching: use the basic map style first to find the water. You don't miss water hidden by trees, etc. Then swap to satellite view to check quality of the opportunity.
I love that I can feel Jon’s genuine joy when he’s catching fish. Very enjoyable. Reminds me of catching fish as a kid with friends at the local reservoir. Those were the days.

I love fishing small road side creeks! I do mostly to catch bait fish. However I have gotten some pretty cool surprises! A four foot ell in a saltwater creek once! I always enjoy watching these adventures of yours.
I caught a 10lb bull trout on my 6 foot daiwa presso ultralight with an ice fishing reel on 4lb test. It was absolutely insane. It was also in a current which made it feel even heavier. I thought I was snagged for the first 10 minutes.

Love watching your videos and I love your conservationist style of fishing. I'm the same way, rescue the animals if you can and clean up angler's left behind trash in the water before you leave your spot. I actually keep some trash bags in my tackle bag so I can do this. Keep rocking the challenges I really enjoy them and they give me ideas to try mew ways of fishing. Northern fishing rocks and I'm truly enjoying Oregon bass fishing more than my hometown California bass spots. Never stop man 🤙🏻

When will the new googan baits, rods and reels be out? My birthday is late October and I’m wanting an all googan birthday.
6.5 ft Medium and medium light is my usual rod for medium/small streams, but im up in Montana and the biggest fish we usually catch are 15-20lb pike
