If anyone is having a problem with floating head gear thats off set i ran into that problem too, make sure you weight paint and another thing was to rename the vertex group to (Head) idk why but when i did that and reimported it worked.

I use the duplicate fonction on the reforger tool for simply create new stuff with different texture, but everytime a create an Headgear stuff, all is working, but I can see the helmet / hat, on my vision field, on first person camera, and it obstruct my vision when i Aim or turn my head .. Can you please help with with this issues or tell me a trick that i don't know ? (Sorry for my bad english)
Awesome vid. 1 question. I used the skeleton you linked, followed all the steps and got in game with textures but it was approx 180 wrong direction and a little above the head and slightly off to one side. Is it an issue with the skeleton or I did something wrong?
Yeah, checked all that. Done it twice with same results, reset all transforms etc. Both occasions it ended up in the same place off to one side and a little above head so it ends up half way through head and above shoulder, despite also lining up with the body model and the model from samples. I will give it another go. I did notice in the tutorial you swapped out the skeleton at some point for a different one. Is the one in the link good? Thanks

Wish My Arma Tools worked.. just keeps crashes every time I open something in 3d.. tried forums and Discords, uninstall everything, just wont work =(
Your add-on might have references to deleted entities. Does it crash when you load another add-on?

Make sure you have only 163 bones and your helmet is connected to the root
