hello bro, I also want to get into astrophotography. Can you suggest any telescope and mount that both cost less than 850 dollars? Or, because this is my first time buying a telescope, should I buy a 10-inch Dobsonian? plz reply
Bro I am not sure you want to Deep space astrophotograhy or planets/moon photography. If you only do planets/moon photography, a Dob with a tracking AZ mount is OK. If you want to do DSO photography like Orion nebula, what you must have is a tracking EQ mount to keep long exposures for cameras. Damon Scotting just make review a budget video about our SV503 70ED with a budget tracking mounts and a cheap DSLR to make astrophotography. Kindly check here, it's less than 1K usd. www.amazon.com/dp/B085NTQL2C?maas=maas_adg_B7DE96CB4F66E99F697674C03F9BA2A2_afap_abs&ref_=aa_maas&tag=maas ruclips.net/video/hNEvjVBEF6k/видео.html
excellent video, can anyone give me a tip? I only have a Dobson 6 with a dobson mount in my case, for example with a sv305pro camera, will I be able to take advantage of the camera or will the mount type always prevent me from taking good pictures? I really need an honest and sincere opinion. thanks
For Dob, especially with a long focal length reflector telescope, I think it is more suitable for short exposures photography like planets photography. For deep space astrophotograhy, better have a EQ go-to mount and a refractor.
@@SvbonyOfficial thanks for the explanation, so can you advise me a camera and the necessary accessories, to photograph near space taking into account my dobson 6? thanks again
The max zoom times depends on the size the obejective lens aperture diameters. For instance, this svbony SV503 102ED is 102mm, so theorical speaking, its largest zoom size is 102X2=204. Of course, actual zoom size depends what eyepiece you use, this is how to caculate. Zoom times= Focal lenth / the diameter of eyepiece. For example, 102ED focal length is 714mm, if I use a 4mm eyepiece. zoom times= 714/4=178. Besides, the sharpness and high contrast of image depends on the glasses your telescope own( like ED glasses) and the build structure(doublet triplet ). It's not the zoom times you only pay attention to. It's also how clear and sharp for the image or visual you should pay attention.
You could take many subs of picutres . One sub may take exposure 2-5minutes which this depends on your tracking mount. Then Stacked all the subs together. So that's the total subs together exposures.
Yes, the refrecator telescope is more suitable for galaxy and nebula photography. Of course, it also could be used to oberserve of planets like Jupiter Saturn with barlow lens. If you want to observe galaxy, make sure you have a great place without too much light pollution. Because most galaxy are very dim. We will have great discounts on prime day. If interested, please check. www.amazon.com.be/dp/B08ZS8PRFX/ref=twister_B09Y18897W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Of course, bro. Better material of glass, the better results. But considering the cost, doublet with fpl51 much more cost effective. In future, we will have a fpl53 product line with a best price in this industry.
