- IIT Placement 2024: Indian Institute Of Technology देश के सबसे प्रतिष्ठित संस्थानों में से एक है. यहां एडमिशन पाना कैंडिडेट्स का सपना होता है और लगभग हर किसी का मानना होता है IIT में एडमिशन हो गया यानी आपका करियर सेट हो गया. लेकिन पिछले कुछ सालों से IIT प्लेसमेंट में कमी आई है. IIT 2024 बैच के सभी 23 परिसरों में करीब 38% छात्रों को प्लेसमेंट नहीं मिला है. IIT का प्लेसमेंट ड्राइव अब खत्म होने को है. IIT कानपुर के एक पूर्व छात्र धीरज सिंह ने इस बारे में कई RTI आवेदन दिए थे. इनके जवाब में 38 प्रतिशत स्टूडेंट्स को नौकरी नहीं मिलने वाली जानकारी सामने आई है.

It is a predictable consequence of mindlessly downgrading education standards by over expanding number of IITs, and reducing curriculum from 5 yr to 4.

Im from IIT DELHI ,and i want to tell to Gov job seekers! That there is only 0.5% or 1 % people in IIT those who dont get a job rest remaining 61% get it and 10-15% go for reserch or business remaining go for further Post Graduate studies❤

Even those who go to research or PG used to get offers. As of 2024 it looks they are forced to do MBA or research or govt jobs. Also similar is the situation with IIMs. I don’t think there folks wanna go for RnD or futher studies. Even business is super tough in these times and they know it
@@vishalkanwar2333 yes...no one likes to go fir masters or higher studies if they get decent placements in graduation...these IITians are going for masters or government prep exactly because they're unable to get placements.
Try to understand the timing of this news before jee Advance exam.
I suspect the grads are too self-important and unrealistic, and reject job offers that do not meet their salary expectations.
To mitigate the ‘brain drain’ phenomenon, the Indian government should explore the option of directly recruiting IIT graduates into central government services. This approach would help retain top talent by providing attractive opportunities within the country. Currently, some IITians are opting for entrepreneurial ventures or rejecting job placements due to lower salary offers. By offering direct government positions, we can encourage these highly skilled individuals to contribute to India’s growth.
Same with IIM. When What was the logic of increasing number of IITs in the country when we already knew AI will kill all technical jobs eventually
Because IIT and IIM students need crore of package. They will not do a 50,000 rupees job.
All technical jobs? I think u don't know about the whole scenario. Today no ai have potential to write an efficient code. Only lower level job of cs in danger. We need more college more intellectual.

They’re trying to hide things. Why placements are down even then placements numbers are similar? So how exactly placements are down by 20-30%? Same people who are defending are saying placements are down and asking for help. Moreover batch sizes have gone up and still 6% unemployment? Unbelievable. One thing they’re not talking about is quality of offers has also went down.

This report is incorrect and misleading. Nearly 90% students got placed . Some are not able to make up there minds or waiting for better prospects or are self employed.
