I just started to buy Karin markers and begin my collection...i should be receiving them any day now..i love how you can do more than just lettering with them..i wouldn't have thought to add a column with a second layer of color..thank you for this color chart tutorial and I'm excited for the rest of the series :)
There's so much you can do with these markers! I hope you have so much fun playing around with yours and thanks so much for watching this series! Can't wait to share more!
Great tutorial, I feel proud of my effort. My greys failed to budge at all though with water, even though all the other colours blended nicely, did I do something wrong?
The greys just blend different than the rest so you didn't do anything wrong! The tip I gave for that in the video was to wet the square first, add color and then blend further!
@@clairewilliams9416 No problem! I definitely had the same issue my first couple gos at this color chart until I figured out that trick! A bit of a surprise after all the rest blend so well!
I have just bought these awesome brushmarkers, i was wondering though what paper do you or can you suggest for a beginner for these other than the one you suggested. I have some with me liek the montmarte watercolour paper and that was just a HUGE no go they didnt work well on this paper at all. I am also in australia so that might jut limit me unless i go to amazon or ebay. Thankyou soo very much. I just cannot wait to follow this tutorial for these markers

I was fortunate to find your prepared chart... it’s awesome ..I copied it onto a 11x 17. Watercolour sheet.... perfect. I found these quite hard to a activate... I kept asking myself if they were watercolours?
I did this with mine but you didn’t really need to skip a box the second time as there is no point at which they touch. Love your work though. It’s beautiful. I’m a new subscriber and have binge watched you for days. Starting b’cos I’m looking for a new purchase 🖊
Hi!!! Im a begginer with this markers and im wondering if you can tell me which paper can I use? I have some watercolorpaper from hero arts and the pens do not blend at all. Im looking for any not so expensive paper. Could you please recomend one?
I would recommend the student grade paper (Canson XL) that I have linked in this blog post under the supplies I used for the foliage tutorials: amandaarneill.com/2020/03/karinbrushmarker/ I hope that helps! xo
It depends where you live! In some areas, it may be more cost effective to order it from their website but just do a price comparison to retailers that ship to you.

So exciting! Hope you're having fun playing around with them - so many amazing colors!
im hoping to save up enough for these markers!! they look so fun.
You refer to the liquid in the pens as paint, but is actually paint or ink?
How do you clean hands after them
I'll do this this weekend ❤️ i just got my first set 😁
Why did you leave out the full strength color as in a swipe of the full unwatered pen?

Great video 😍 do you recommend buying those markers by their official website???

I just ordered from their website the 26 set £48 with postage, £55 for same set on amazon
is there a water brush included in the karin watercolor pro set?
It doesn't come with it but I have the additional supplies that I used all linked in the blog post! xo

Hi. Are this markers good for coloring or just letting?
You can use them for coloring but they're best used as watercolor paint to get the full benefit of these markers.
Great tutorial! However, I live in a country where these can’t be found. Are there any alternatives?
I figure ecoline brush pens are similar, but more expensive.
Not great swatching, you couldn't see some of the colours at all
Thanks so much for the feedback! I will try to zoom in more in the future 💜
