I m a big fan of gulzaar after listening songs of movies- aandhi, ghar, masoom, ijazzat, thodi si bewafai and many others.
Achanak, that I watched fifty years ago, and again on video cassette, and again on RUclips, is one of the BEST Gulzar Saab’s story telling.

I totally agree with Gulzar sahab about our attitude towards kids. We think of them as our property and have no genuine respect for them. We have nothing to be proud of as a nation for our treatment of our kids. If there wasn't a law against child labour, we would still have quite openly exploited them as domestic servants, etc.

What an opportunity lost for IFTDA and the admirers of Gulzar saab. To host such a distinguished personality as Gulzar, the moderator chosen ought to have been a seasoned film journalist. The glossary of questions asked by the audience were largely silly which shows how little they have followed His works.

Sudhir Mishra is a pathetic interviewer, his questions are meandering, long, unwinding and like essays. An absolute waste of time especially when you have a rare gem like Gulzaar Saab on the other side.
Indians & sensible people around the world want to see eminent personalities like Shri Gulzar ji to once again revive Indian cinema & give us sensible & meaningful entertainment & relieve us from the present set of most foolish Indian fellows in the film industry. I salute Gulzar sir.

Terrible mic'ing. An absorbing conversation turned into an arduous exercise in hearing. It shows a lack of planning. If he is sitting on one side and his interviewer is on his left, it stands to reason that the lavalier has to point in the correct direction. Instead, they pointed it to Gulzar sahab's right. Mic'ing is critical and you have to plan ahead.
