Hyoho Taisha-ryu Kenjutsu - Sengan-en (September 20th, 2020)

Taisha-ryu and Jigen-ryu held a joint demonstration of swordsmanship at Sengan-en, the stately home and gardens of the Shimadzu clan on the 20th of September 2020. This is the first time in 416 years that these two schools have appeared together at a property of the Shimadzu family.

Wonderful! Taisha-ryu is such an elegant art. I would love to study it. What a great day of demonstrations this must have been, and at such a beautiful place!
