After NEET.. calculated my score 623.. was very excited that finally this wait is over and now my ncert will get replaced by gold standard books.. even I started reading BDC basic anatomy learned new terms.. watched all the videos available regarding MBBS.. decided which books I will be reading in 1st year for university exams as well as for exposure.. just planned everything.. and this all got washed away on 4th June.. last year at my marks rank was 15000 I expected it to be around 23000 but when I saw the results it was completely traumatizing and the rank was 55551.. last year my cousin got 633 and everyone was celebrating the moment even I felt happy for him though my score was 450.. I expected the same worked hard put my all efforts.. Now I am completely clueless cause taking a drop again at 623 is not a joke.. even I don't even want to join other courses.. Imagine you are served with butter paneer and then suddenly they say don't eat it and it gets Replaced by bitter gourd.. I respect every profession but my dream was MBBS.. 😊

Finally you can say that I am MBBS graduate from GMC Nagpur 😅
It was my first attempt this year and I scored 584, ik it is not that high score but it was enough for securing a seat in my state. I was happy enough coz though we all want aiims but I was grateful that atleast my actual dream of becoming a doctor will be fulfilled. Unlike my other friends who were mentally
prepared to take a drop, I wasn't coz my family couldn't afford due to circumstances and tbh I gave my best. I got 94% in boards as well. But on 4th all my dreams stattered into pieces. This rank inflation affected us all. Ppl might say that I scored too low so I should have not expected any seat or some might think that I have enough time since it was my first attempt, but guys trust me I worked a lot for this score as well and tbh atleast a state seat was confirmed according to last year's ranks. A child who aims to be a doctor from class 1 itself, its been 12 yrs already for me working on making it a reality, addition of another year and going thru all this again takes a lot of work and tbh rn m completely mentally exhausted.😔

Handwritten notes point doesnt makes any sense,
"Handwritten notes are harder to revise" said noone ever.
"Handwritten notes are easy to loose" my brother in christ,there are equal chances of misplacing the handwritten notebook and the printed notebook.
I personally think and most of the people would agree that its a lot easier and faster to revise thru handwritten notes rather than printed ones that feels like reading a book.

I got the thing. So you are advising us to take Marrow by the start of second year. I am currently in 1st year, going to have uni exams in August, no subscription only struck to book reading, guyton, vishram singh, Harper. Concepts are 70% cleared but I feel it should have been better as out college doesn't teach Physio and Biochem uo to the mark. I hope i can make it up in one month.
Btw in second yr you are advising to start watching the videos and complete it by February, 2025 (as in my case), and then start Reading Robbins, and other stuff 😅..will it be applicable at all, in other years too? I am just asking as I'm a bit confused.
After watching videos u can just use exam preparatory modules not necessary to go for std books

How to revise 1st and 2nd year subjects when you start with marrow in third year, specifically if you haven’t studied them efficiently. Should we watch old subject videos or start preparing for clinical subjects 😢
First, do ur 3rd and 4th year subjects properly. These are clinical subjects and carry more weightage. After doing these, if time persists u can watch all the video lectures of 1st and 2nd year OR if there is no time then just go through the printed notes of 1st and 2nd ywar by urself.
I am confused between deepak marwah and rakesh nair sir. Whom should i follow if i am in 2nd year right now beacuse i have heard that nair sir is nice but too vast and unrevisable and deepak marwah sir is concise but you require some basic concept before learning from him
During the second halve of the year when i study the university books, Should i be making different notes or the marrow printed notes are enough?
