What I totally respect about Sir Paul McCartney is how loyal he is to his roots, especially Little Richard, etc. May he truly live a long long life with very good health well into his old old age! I truly mean it!
It was back in much much better form after he stopped touring in 93. Still great on his studio albums and live shows until 2010 (and a few more years). It finally caught up totally with his age in 2015. Man did this guy have a good voice . !!
Yeah, this would be hard to sing for almost anyone! He nailed it here at 40 something years old! I just watched an interview from this time where he talked about wanting to lower the key 3 steps down from the original Beatles key for this concert because he felt it was going to be too high for him to sing after so many years. Well, he said he just couldn't tell the line-up he needed to drop the key and decided he was just going to go for it in the original! So he kept it the same and said his excitement and adrenaline kicked in. I'm so glad he did! Sounded just like he did when he did it with the Beatles in the early sixties! Wow! What a voice that stayed really strong for a long long time! 🎤🎸🎹🎼🎶🎵🎶♥️😊
He did keep his voice but his band wasn’t very good until he formed the current one. I saw him perform in the 80s & 90s and they weren’t very good. I think a lot of his band were drinking and/or doing too many drugs.
He was 44 then. Many thought he was old, still great, but would stop recording or should. Thirty-eight years later he is closer to retiring. Let's wait till he's 90
in this concert Paul McCartney is performing his first performance in over six years, which inspired McCartney to tour again: I had never considered going back on tour until I got the royals rocking at The Princes Trust concert, said McCartney. I joined Tina Turner on stage and the packed crowd went crazy . I had missed playing live shows but I didnt realize how much until I did The Princes Trust gig That concert left me feeling so good.
It's very moving to see all these rock dinosaurs together: Paul, members of Status quo, Dire straits, Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams, only heavy!! The Beatles cover of this song was probably the best, because it was very powerful.☺☺☺☺☻☻☻♥♥♥
That's right brother, he broke records that no one had at that time, he practically has the best voice in music, he is one of the great composers in history
I’d say one of the most gifted entertaining, musicians, and one of the most balanced, wise humans. Absolutely a gift from our God. But where would the world be without scientists/ engineers/ inventors etc. The world has had lots of really great people.
Today’s Charles III just barely shifting the weight from one foot to another, awkwardly pivoting in the hips. Priceless in retrospect. The real king is on the stage, rocking the mic.
All those guitarists up there but, as was usually the case with these all start line ups, the one you can make out and who gets to lead is the incomparable Mark Knopfler who can play just about anything!

Man, the greatness of an "all-star" jam!. PRINCESS Diana (the REAL royalty) is really getting down, while her OLD man stands like a statue and becomes part of the machine. Is that Elton John(?) paying homage to the originator of the song (Little Richard) and pounding the 88's. Mark Knopfler doing the "Chuck" and duck-walking his ass off. And Sir Paul Rock and Rolling like a man half his age. As Jenko said (in 21 Jump Street, 2012): "don't stop! That shit is SO tight!"
Well paul is a 78 years old man. As we age our vocal chords tend to deteriorate, but he can still hold a tune with a little help from his friends. Despite his voice pretty much being gone, he still puts on a hell of show. You're in awe just by looking at him. :)
I think Paul will eventually die on tour & it’s so hard to get tickets to his shows
2 года назад
I always got the tickets. If you're there the moment they go on sale, you'll get them. Also if you're registered in his website you can get into a presale (that's how it was up until a few years back, maybe it still works like that). Of course you can't just sit there and think 'ill buy them tomorrow" with Paul. If he's playing somewhere near you, don't hesitate. It is the experience of a lifetime.

No ringo wasn’t you ignorants

He had his voice well into the 2000s

Fantastic performance! I love the shot of Princess Diana getting down and having fun.
even here he sings it the same as he did in 1964, i swear this man is the greatest ever
no way its the same. he cant reach the e6 range anymore. still a good singer tho
Where's the e6 lol
He's singing a powerful a#4 and falsettos a g5 a few times
Which is impressive af still :) @@LazyLizzy706

He’s just a legend. The voice has gone but tickets to see him sell out in minutes

While Paul attempts to sing like Little Richard, Mark Knopfler reminds everyone of Chuck Berry by that "duck walk" he made.

At 0:42 Diana grooves to the music, while Charles tries to figure out whether to shit or wind his watch.
It's interesting how no one even bothers to try to replicate Ringo's drumming to this song.
the triplets by the end are difficult to pull off live, only Ringo ever did back then and even he couldn't do it again well into the late 80s
Epic !
What is HD about this? The wrong ratio? The 80s video quality? The mono sound?
TheWolfbass I think the HD stands for highly distorted
