Hated the demo years ago, got tired of paying the high subscription price for iRacing, never liked ACC... Bought AMS2 because of the recent sale and update, now: I LOVE IT! Amazing in VR, great content, cars feel great!! Can race AI with buddies, buy it!
Did that with iRacing... and they are so lazy that they only have the 2012-ish version... and they make it almost impossible to use some of their vehicles on the track with ridiculous setting limitations... in a PC game
I'm not sure with LFM. If joining hosted sessions, If the host has the content and they log in first and you after, you don't need the track, but you will need the cars.
Nice video. What is ur opinion on the "slideness" in gt3 cars? I feel its still way too much, but maybe I am wrong. The other cars that I drove don't have it, so I dont know.
I haven't tried the old GT3s yet. They haven't implement the new physics and tires to all the cars just yet. The new stuff feels better than the older content.
@@TheSimpit They advertised that all cars have been provided with the new tire model, please put me straight if I am wrong. Anyway, did they eventually say which cars are fixed?
No mention of the career mode in the menu IS CRAZY. I've been waiting for career mode for about 4yrs now... I really hope the get to work on that .. because it seems they have not touched anything in career TILL NOW. :(
everyone that comes from a different sim says the same thing. It will not feel like the sim you are used to. as far as if it feels real or not.. Idk I'm not a professional driver.. but personally I always have a blast driving.
I do think the physics needs to be tuned more, but its a step in the right direction. I did have to mess around a bit with the FFB to get it to feel right. Not sure if you tried that yet
@ agree, I did try quite a while back thought it was ok. But then started iracing and now I have been chasing that feeling ever since. I have followed a few different setups for simagic but I’m still lacking somewhere 🤘
It's a great update but they need to stop updating the cars behavior and then in a month or two change it back to be more like it was before the update.
I heard this should be the last major physics update. So next should only be minor fixes. They also reseted time trials. It is also important for me. I layed it down because of everchangig physics. Just played the new update for about 2h. It is fine for me. Since i did not slide that much before i can't tell the difference 😂 The greyed out career mode makes me hyped for the upcoming updates.
@@IvebenKruzen They aren't going to backtrack. The main purpose of this update was to bring every car up to the level of the 2024 Stock and Formula cars which is why it took so long.

The GT3s are still broken. The gte cars are better, so are the Brazilian stock cars and the new lmps

I find the cars undriveable, they feel floaty and not connected but then sometimes they oddly have super grip. IDK, not the greatest IMO

Yeah, you don't need the DLC to have fun or You can grab them from cdkeys for alot cheaper

Wait, what are you saying? They need to change the car physics back to the way it was? Because for the most part, the cars handle much better.
