    Hello friends and family!!!
    Welcome back to In The Kitchen With RC!
    I will be baking Rollos de Canela (Cinnamon Rolls) let's go!!!
    Ingredients:
    4 cups of flour
    2 pinches of salt
    ½ tablespoon of sugar
    ½ cup of margarine/butter
    The rind of one lime
    3 eggs
    1 heaped tablespoon of yeast (activated)*
    ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
    *Process to activate dry yeast:
    1⁄2 cup of warm water.
    1⁄4 cup of warm milk.
    1 heaped tablespoon of dry yeast.
    Add a little bit of the sugar from our ingredients.
    Add a little bit of the flour from our ingredients.
    Mix it well and let it sit for 15 minutes until it gets bubbly.
    Filling Part 1 of 2:
    ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons of margarine/butter
    Filling Part 2 of 2:
    ½ cup of sugar
    1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
    Egg to coat
    Frosting:
    ½ cup of butter
    3 cups of powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    ½ to 2 tablespoons of milk
    Mix all ingredients in the order shown above.
    Knead the dough for 3 to 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle flour on the table and on the dough so that you can begin to stretch it with the help of a roller pin, into a rectangle shape.
    Filling part 1 of 2:
    Spread the butter evenly over the dough.
    Sprinkle flour over the spread butter.
    Fold the dough evenly into thirds.
    Sprinkle flour on the table and roll the dough from the center outward into a rectangle shape again.
    Fold the dough into the center from each end and fold over.
    Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle flour on the table and on the dough so that you can begin to stretch it with the help of a roller pin as much as you can on all sides.
    Filling part 2 of 2:
    Coat the dough with beaten egg evenly.
    Mix the sugar and the cinnamon together. Sprinkle it on the coated dough.
    Begin to stretch and roll the dough alongside with your hands until it is completely rolled.
    Cut them into three finger lengths and place into a greased pan with space in between.
    Let it sit for 40~60 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 350F
    Bake for 14~16 minutes.
