Every time I thought it was looking good and assumed it was close to being finished, you added another more awesome layer and another and another! It just kept getting more and more beautiful! The hyper realistic character you have captured is truly inspiring. A machine could not do better. I absolutely love your art.
I am so in love with this. I wish you had step by step instructions ❤. Do u happen to have any videos with step by step with using all of the materials?
Hi, Beautiful Beautiful work!! would love to give it a shot myself! am I able to get the print out of the whale photo you used as a size reference at all?
WOW!!! That's so cool😍Please can you add captions as why certain ingredients are needed like the spray, alternative stuff and all that'd be really helpful 😊
Amazing work. It looks so realistic. Thanks for sharing. ❤ I have 2 questions: 1. Can you bake a piece with métal were in it? 2. Do you cut the piece in half and remove the stuff in, before baking? Thanks
Thank you!🙏😊 I've really enjoyed creating it. I pierced the holes in the whale's body because there can be air between the clay and the foil, and the clay can puff up when heated.
This is beautiful. Can I ask do you heat the clay? If so is it before painting? I'm new to pottery and find your video very inspiring, thank you for sharing :)
Thanks very much! Yes, I heat the clay before painting and a few times during the sculpting process. I use the Cernit oven-bake polymer clay. Have fun creating.❤
Fantastic work. Where do you get the metal rod to attach the whale to? They seem essential to sculpt aquatic creatures (without sculpting a whole base for each one), but I haven't been able to find them. And do you buy the wooden base?
Hi! I wonder if with each layer of clay you added you baked each one first. At what temperature and time did you bake each layer, and how long was the final baking time? I love this whale, you turned out amazing! Thanks 🥰
Hi, Laura, I'm glad you liked it.😊 While sculpting, I bake the clay several times for 5-10 minutes at 110-130 degrees Celsius. That makes it a lot easier for me to shape it. At the end of sculpting, I bake the figure for about 20 minutes.

@@Mashferum Hi! Ty for answering my question . No way. I like that idea. When I worked with kiln fired clay I always worked with slip and also rolled thin coils and blended seams together. Tank you Schella!😊
If I've got this right:
1. Yes, you can bake with the wire armature.
2. I don't cut the piece, the foil stays inside.
Wow👍👍, this is very cool!!
Thanks.🐋
Would you mind if I want to ask you where I can get humpback whale template that you used? 🥺

@@Mashferum aaw fine, thank you!!
1:43 how do you get the clay this texture? And what type of tape is this? Last question, do you just poke the hole on the base, take it off, and bake?
1. Polymer clay + Fimo Liquid or Cernit glue.
2. “Tamia” Masking tape.

It's beautiful and really inspiring, how do you make the "muddy" clay ? Do you mix it with acetone ?

Thanks a lot! I use inexpensive knitting needles as the metal rod. For the base, I used a wooden tray from the H&M Home Store.
@@Mashferumwhat is the paste that u put in that hole?
@nurayeesyanatasya6633 It was Epoxy putty (Cold weld).

What is the brown gooey stuff that you use? What does it do differently than the clay?
This is polymer clay mixed with liquid polymer clay. It's more comfortable for me to work this way, but you can skip this step.
