I've realized the missile launcher makes more sense on the Mediator, since it could be mounted on the side and the tube would be out of the way. Wouldn't be accurate but it would be more convenient.
And the tri strike missle launcher has a stock point so you can put the missle launcher on the side of the mediator and put the emergency blaster stock on the missle launcher if you have two sight raisers (from the halo ar if you for some reason bought to halo ars) possibly three

I think that the tri-strike is effectively a perfect blaster for HvZ's or whatnot that require those kinds on darts, the downs side of slightly slower fire rate doesnt matter because your team *NEEDS* to protect you. If you use the tri-strike you're not going for damage, you're going for utility

I didn’t have a secondary on me at that point, and my blaster jammed. I was able to pull the tiny blaster out, yeet my primary to the side, and take out like 4 zombies before inevitably being turned.

The only thing i dont understand is why a mediator or tristrike would be secondary blaster if your primary is something like rapidstrike or stryfe; given that they use the same ammo and magazines. Like, why carry a whole blaster rather than its mag by itself to feed your primary an additional time? Unless your primary is a rival nemesis or something which uses a different ammo type, it seems odd to me for a secondary to share the same ammo pool (magazines) with your primary.

Actually..... if you want a Pump action, slam fire, side magazine blaster..... Get a Rampage, it has way better ergonomics and better ability to steady the blaster thanks to the distance between the priming and firing handles. It is also more reliable thanks to the direct linkage with the sled, where as the Mediator has a gearbox which can strip over time

Coop should have added a pro towards the tri-strike that when you buy the tri-strike, its a 3 in 1 gun, compared to the mediator where you have to buy all the attachments
The mediator ,for me is a very good springer platform since it is pump action and slam fire enabled and the mag horizontal is a great advantage because it makes it even more compact (compared to an alpha trooper)and you can see the ammo you have left
I dont care about those attachment because mediator is pretty small and accurate(pump-action)secondary,i wont make it bigger and harder to carry around if i want those attachment,i would buy tri-strike

In your combos and stereotypes series you should do the 'odd ballz' who runs a stryfe with no stock a modulus sheild on the lower tactical rail, the yellow tactical light on the top rail with a foldable grip above that, the tri-strike front attachment, and a 6 round mag.
I dunno why, but I like horizontal mag ports, and I like the smallness of the mediator, I like the pump being close, and I prefer the forgrip style over the shotgun style pump.
TL:DR Without other bought or pre-owned attachments (ones that are not included with the blaster), the mediator is better. If you have access to other attachments, the Tri-Strike is better. The mediator is better alone, and the Tri-strike is better with other accessories. If you can only buy one blaster between the two and nothing else for the rest of time, choose the mediator.
Just put the tristrike front attachment on the mediator since it has four shots instead of 3 and also fires Mega darts for that special occasion. The stock is bad though cause you only have one missile shot and then it a huge piece of useless plastic. The mediator stock is very good though but the front attachment is not as good and you still have to buy them.
We managed to buy a tri-strike for something like £23 from a smyths... it was the only one on the shelf and basically my son was attracted to it because kids below a certain age seem to care more about novelty and customisability... so yeah, I suppose my point is you didn’t mention price.
