Ditching an additional silencer I added to my 1987 Saab 900 turbo last year. Sounds good! Copyright Free Music; • MKSTN - Like We Used T... MKSTN - Like We Used To
Sweet !. Indeed the best sounding 4cyl. Back in my yoof, i thought it was a good ideal to straight-pipe my 900T 8v. Sounded freaking awesome. Although the neighbours disagreed...
Oh that sound! The rumble gurgle. Takes me back to the '83 900Turbo 4-door sedan I owned while living in Vail, CO, USA. At that time, the Vail and Aspen Police also deove the same car. A winter assault vehicle long before the proliferation of "SUV." My current Saab is an '07 9-3 2.0t ragtop. Not a 900, but still has some Saab left in it. Thanks for posting. Cheers.
Odd question i know but did you retro-fit the front lights with the flat nose set up instead? I’ve never seen these on an E reg (1988) model 900 before, i thought the slopped front came in the year before with the D reg.
This is a stock flat nose. It was such a low spec (8 valve single carb (I 16 valve/turbo/Trionic swapped it) manual windows, no stereo etc etc) I can imagine it being some undesirable stock that was difficult to shift then probably flogged to an unsuspecting old lady 😆 I've seen a few E plate flat fronters and they all suit this profile

That sounds wonderful!
Sounds wicked, great work! Love the rims, really suit the car.
Thanks, just stock steels banded 1.5"
When you let it idle and back up a bit at low revs it sounds like home.

Nice work resulting in a great Saab sound!
Memories flowing back to the time I had an 83 900T. Best sounding 4 cylinder for sure.

Nice video!
sounds fantastic, great burble, I see you have a 9000 as well
I do. It's a bit poorly at the moment with the engine suffering low oil pressure/noisey bottom end but it will be back out to play one day
Noiceeeeee
