I think people conflate value with character. Men think that being high value is only being the financial provider and protector of the wife and home. But it extends to being the emotional protector. Everything was PERFECT until I got to know about their open relationship. It's not healthy, it's not okay even if it is consensual. Pretty soon when the husband keeps on seeing she has no self respect she will be walked all over.
