    Keep it up G! My wife and I sell VTG Skate and streetwear clothing and my dream is to eventually quit the daily job and open a B&M. Thank you for diving into detail on the process!

    Damn dude $5000/month all in for the location is absolutely insane for Jacksonville. I think you'd be better off spending that money on building an online presence with a fuck ton of advertisements and investing in producing better branding content and a good website.

    What is better selling in person or online? Considering the time you spend etc.

    • @KOLLECTJAX
      @KOLLECTJAX  Год назад +1

      I would honestly say in person. Its easier to deal with customer service in person rather than online.

    Found your channel yesterday and have watched pretty much all the videos. Super inspirational! Did you go to school for business? I’ve dreamed of having a clothing store like yours but I have no idea right now about all of the different systems and programs and things that go with running a store that I feel like would be covered with a business degree? So if you didn’t go to school for business, did you just learn as you went?

    just happened across this video. I use to sell stuff once in awhile but I’m more of a collector bc I was fortunate to do well in corporate sales early on in life Ive acquired a huge indoor climate controlled storage unit and a basement filled with nothing but incredible vintage pieces I started out with clothing 20 yrs ago and shortly after added collectibles. I now have literally tons of rare pieces,nos,aop,single stitch,nos, one off extremely rare items,vintage clothing mostly 50’s through late 90’s Nike,Starter,Pendleton,Levis,Dior,YSL,concert tees,incredible vintage sports SnapBack and trucker hat collection vintage movie posters and all the promo material and press kits that were given only to theater owners,lots of vintage watches,jewelry,sports cards,autographs,memorabilia,military items,very rare aviaton items,art,some mid century furniture pictures,paintings,toys ie Star Wars,GI Joe 60’s w accessories,video game consoles and games NES,SNES,N64,Atari,Sega,big collection of 1st edition sci fi paperback books from the 50’s and 60’s,some cool signs,glassware,ephemera,industrial lights,literally anything that caught my eye that I thought was neat,rare, or valuable. There’s no filler it’s all extremely hard to find stuff that took decades to acquire. There’s a lot more stuff it’s just hard to mention everything. Im looking to move back out to Las Vegas (I came back to Alabama during the pandemic to help with a close family member that has now died) If someone can get to Alabama I may be willing to sell it all and cash out. It’s never been picked through or even seen by anyone for that matter. If someone can come this week or next I can send pics of different items. I’m going to the Orange Bowl Dec. 29th and probably the national championship Jan. 8th so if I am gonna sell it would have to be prior to then. Sorry for such a long comment.

    Very good video and being realistic with what it takes to open a store, where are you finding the most success with social media wise? (Tik tok, IG etc.) and where are you looking to improve more social media wise?

    • @KOLLECTJAX
      @KOLLECTJAX  Год назад

      Right now our biggest success with Social Media is Instagram. Make sure your speaking to the Algorithm though. Looking to improve being more consistent with Tik TZok because the demographic that were looking to target is transitioning into the Tik Tok space.
