Pretty sure the colors look the way they do on PS5 due to post processing. The depth blur is also a post processing effect and that’s why it’s not present on Switch.
@@ndDavilos Oh ok it makes more sense honestly
If you play coop in the switch version does it turn to 30fps or it stays at 60fps? Thanks
down to 30fps
It’s actually not that bad looking honestly, just texture changed and Sonic being lighter
You missed about 6 other downgraded or removed features lol. Still though, it's not that bad.
How does the switch version feel to play? Does it occasionally lag or anything?
Los indicadores de espacio (fondo con blur), los colores están más intensos y las texturas más nítidas en PS5
Not too terrible. Really reminds me of the PSP vs PS3 comparisons back in the day.
*PS3 vs PS Vita
I'm already dead set on getting it on switch (my only other option would be xbox one anyway), the somewhat flatter lighting doesn't really bother me
This game is perfect for the switch so I’m getting it on switch! Playing this on the go is amazing
I was playing a bit last night (switch) and thought it was looking a bit oversaturated. This video shows that the Switch version is indeed more saturaded when compared to the PS5 version. Might have to ajust the TV settings a bit.
The lack of actual shadow (no pun intended) under Sonic is a step too far in my opinion
They both look good.
Looks pretty good on Switch. Compares well to the PS5 version which of course has more detail.
Playing on the much smaller screen in handheld mode on the switch, the lower quality graphics really aren’t as noticeable as you think
Honestly i kinda prefer that the background isnt blurred on the switch version
⚠️ LOOK AT THE BACKGROUND. Why is the background so blurry on the PS5? I noticed deep in the background you could actually see how nice and clear the Nintendo switch version is but the PS5 looks way to blurry. Look at the far background on the PS5 and look how blurry it looks. You can't even see the textures on the PS5. While the Nintendo switch backgrounds looks clear and great! Graphic wise of course PS5 but it's not a huge graphic difference. There is a difference of course but not an OMG! Difference. I would definitely buy it for the Nintendo switch just because the background looks waaaay more clear and better on the switch than the PS5. They both look great though 🎮🎮
The backgrounds on the PS5 are all blurry? While I see the other improvements over the Switch, that's supposed to be better, is it?
Looks decent. Only weird thing is the Switch version looks less contrasty? Could have easily done something about that.
Looking decent at least it's 60fps on switch
But its 30fps on co-op Just to let you know.
@@ATSTB Maybe they probably did that in case if you play Co-Op online.
Is that for only 4 players or also 2 players?
@@dennisx3397 Co-op is for 2 - 4 players
Honestly, since the game runs at 60 FPS on Switch, I can excuse the downgraded graphics. Plus it's not a game breaking problem. Just a downgrade in graphics
I can't believe any game in 2023 would still have "jaggies" like a PS2, is the resolution even HD on the Switch version? Unless you need portable gaming, there's no good reason to buy games on the Switch anymore. It's ancient hardware does not do the beauty of modern gaming justice at all.
0:34 is it just me? Or is it PS5 Version has depth of field on background and not has it in Switch Version?
I can barely tell the difference. Seems fine on both.
sonic superstars in switch is nostalgic, this look 2010
I like how they removed depth of field on switch, the opening scene with sonic onthe plane, the background is clearer on the switch. I cant stand extra blur being a better graphics setting, always turned stuff like that off
Honestly, given one is meant to be played in 4k on a big screen and the other is primarily a handheld (yes i know its probably docked mode but aside from upscaling its the same in handheld) the Switch looks great.
Lack of blur effects makes the Switch version far more appealing to me
You almost can't go wrong with either tbh.
The PS5 version is the definitive way to play the game. It look fantastic at 4K 60 fps and it has fast loading times.
Sonic Superstars looks surprisilly good on Nintendo Switch but better on Playstation 5 so I will buy and play this really nice looking old and new Classic Sonic game Sonic Superstars on my Ps5. 😊❤
Can't decide if I prefer the depth-of-field (blurring effect) on the PS5 or not...
the switch version look like that we are playing the nintendo 3DS game
It's funny seeing people in the comments argue over which version of a 2D Sonic game is better.
