One of my favourite skits from The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, Party at Elton John's house. This was taken from episode 10/16/2009 featuring guest Toby Keith.
John Reynolds. He is one of the writers. He had appeared as Fake Craig several times, notably on the Larry King sketches. I also remember seeing him play Bret Michaels. in a Rock of Love sketch where Craig was one of the contestants
Craig might downvoted, too. He's a sensitive guy and John did go a bit too far teasing him about his weight and illiteracy... [Honestly, though, Ferguson did the best putdowns of himself. The funniest I heard came from that Fuzzball, Sid. He said Ferguson looked more forward to beatdowns in Scotland versus the mean gossip in Hollywood! "Better to be beaten black and blue than get my feelings hurt!" LOL]
Yeah there's lots of weak spots, but I could listen to they guy playing "The Actual Craig Ferguson" talk like that all day. I assume he's one of the writers? A PARR'Y AT ELT'N JUNN's 'OUSE!
"I don't DO big words!" And that's when I started to laugh... They just absolutely skewer Craig everytime that writer-actor put on the Ferguson/Moe wig for these sketches! I take it he's playing Craig before he went into rehab and detoxed?
Fake Craig still looks more Patrick Troughton mixed with the worst, most stereotypical Scottish accent I've heard! What a hideous Moe wig! 😂😂😂 The hilarious part is that there ARE people who sound like this. Ya ever notice Sean Connery's accent became harsher the older he got and he just stopped faking a softer British accent (for the most part) after the early 1980s?
I'm impressed Salman Rushdie played along with this crazy skit lol!
