As someone who upgraded from ryobi to Milwaukee the one thing I miss is that magnetic tray. Was always nice to drop a handful of whatever I was driving onto that tray, or when taking something apart it is nice to put the hardware on it instead of pockets or the floor. I wish other manufactures would adopt that. I think there are aftermarket solutions for this but it’s nice when it built into the tool

I think the issue with the adapters is they haven't caught up with the increased power and increased frequency of impacts the newer impact drivers have. They need to increase the strength of the adapters to match the power of newer impact drivers.

Thanks for the comparison of these 2 brushless brothers. I got in a bind last week and had to go grab 1/2"drive impact and I grabbed the P262 after seeing your evaluation and couple other's, I felt it had all the balls needed for the particular job, and it smacked that axle nut loose in less than 2.5sec. I know I could've gotten the high torque for roughly $30.00 bucks more, but new mid torque is no slouch. It'll remove Simi lug-nuts without breaking a sweat, but I wouldn't normally ever use it that way. Just happy as hell it worked out.

Picked this up with the hammer drill back when they started showing up at HD. Had about 14 beams (a few triple beamed) to drill through and a bunch of 3” nails to run in some electrical, and figured it’d be the perfect time to run the new impact. After about 7 holes, the metal casing was super hot to the point I let it cool of for about 20 minutes, and it was still hot

Any way you can include model numbers of the tools/batteries in the video descriptions? Really helps out, especially with, like you said, the crazy model numbers tool companies are using nowadays. Look at a Bosch tool model number and try to figure out which tool is the newer/better version, near impossible, lol. Same with Milwaukee, and now apparently Ryobi is doing it. Then they have the "kit model numbers" which is where is give up and go to Harbor Freight treat my depression, lol

Impact drivers should just have a combination 1/2" anvil with a 1/4" collet, like on the Bosch GDX.
But they'd probably have to license it from Bosch, and that would add cost. Instead they can just sell you adaptors that break easily, or another tool, which adds profit instead.

You use only one hand and on the handle of the driver. Actually the way most will. BUT by doing this you are not pushing straight down, but are putting a bending force on the adapter. If you want to not break so many adapters then when using high downward force put the palm of your hand on the body of the impact wrench. Your technique is what is breaking the adapters. Some people could break an anvil.

Those adapters are such a horrible design because why put a thin spot in it?
You’re making an intentional weakest link. The ones that have the 1/4 hex as the thinnest part just seem to be better and making the hex shank thicker is impossible without completely changing the product. I have some by neiko and they seem more substantial

I never seen a stupid test. this tools are not designed to drive a big bolt. is common sense. if I drive a big bolt ill use the impact for tires.

Удивительно, как один и тот же бренд в США может считаться годным и востребованным, а в России - мусорным. Вот как это возможно?
