I really appreciate the fact that you go to these events and make reportage from them. Most of the lego tubers that I watch don't do that and just record from home or a workshop
I was very thankful to meet you yesterday and had the pleasure of taking a photo with you. Thank you so much it made our day bumping into you, picking up some solid star wars sets capped off the day!
Wow I’m so jealous. That looks like an awesome show. You just said have a good walk around and price. What you want I did that a long time ago at a Lego convention in Canberra Australia and by the time I got back all six were gone I had to wait until another Lego convention to eventually got it
These events look awesome - I have the 1989 batwing and have only built it once then stored it nicely in a really useful box because I have nowhere to display it I would definitely part with it because I want to make room for other sets but have no idea what its value is.
The video was spectacular for sure I loved it Kevin I’m glad you got Some chases or I some purchases I carnt wait to see your next event hmm love from Kate last
But the thing is as well that new set at 190 yer that’s good price but u don’t get the Lego vip points and don’t get the gwp so u have to way out what’s best for you
be prepared for a fair bit of repetition building the London Bus. The seat building can get you down after a while. I got mine off amazon for a very good price last year. Once it's built it is a fantastic display piece.
That top left pick at the start about the NEC is my photo/report. Awesome I'm sort of famous again 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Such a bad event for my 1st ever lego event but thankfully since every other one I've attended has been amazing. We at the Yorkshire Ghostbusters even do displays at them now with NBE ❤
@blockpartyuk no was just a phone call and the interview and pics went into about 4 different papers. Was worth doing it for free so noone else wasted money in future tbh. We got a refund eventually too
That’s the thing about theses events they sell sets that’s still in the shops or still online for a bit more or a lot more does my head in I can understand sets that’s u can’t by no more
It makes sense when they’re in a town with no Lego store. But somewhere like Birmingham where there are 2 stores I can’t imagine they sell a lot of current sets
You’re talking about a £10-15 difference. I’d call that a good deal for the benefit of buying in person, being able to verify it’s a legitimate set, knowing it’s not damaged, getting it immediately rather than waiting for it to be posted and potentially damaged in the post. All things being equal I’d always rather buy in person. And there are plenty of them on eBay for well over what I paid!
@blockpartyuk yes but u said it was cheaper then u can get elsewhere. No worries. If it makes u happy and you can afford to pay more then go for it . Life to short
I need to find one of these conventions in Lincolnshire or near by when they do one but with not being on facebook I never get to hear of any.. is there ever a real big one that’s worth going to that happens just once a year
I really appreciate the fact that you go to these events and make reportage from them. Most of the lego tubers that I watch don't do that and just record from home or a workshop
It’s one of my favourite parts of the hobby! I’ve always loved conventions. I like being surrounded by like minded people.
17:21 giving the finger from the car 😂😂😂
I’d like to think they recognised me
I was very thankful to meet you yesterday and had the pleasure of taking a photo with you. Thank you so much it made our day bumping into you, picking up some solid star wars sets capped off the day!
Any time!
12:00 that floor is crazy... should've eaten a handful of mushrooms beforehand

Just booked the Aberdeen date after watching your video, I'm a massive Star Wars & Batman fan , can't wait

nice to meet you at event. keep up the videos they are great.
I used to go to that venue for the coin fairs, I think Gold & Silver has trebled since then.
Its very weird seeing myself in the video but it was lovely to meet you yesterday, and what a great event
Your flicking around + that carpet made me feel sick 😂😂😂
The London bus is my Favourite set of all time , it got some really good Easter eggs in it. Only down site is the seats are very repetitive.
I’m looking forward to getting started with it

Best way to find retired sets
Hi Kev, great meeting you and thanks for showing my cars and garage! (toms8wides)

I’ve just finished building the bottom row. It wasn’t too bad. I guess I’ve got the same again on the top deck!
Only issue with these events is how much Star Wars stuff there is 😂
The Diner modular was my second ever modular, still one of my faves
Kev, I’ve got a box unopened ghostbusters fire station if it’s of any interest to you? Not sure on a price but looks to be around £600 mark.
That top left pick at the start about the NEC is my photo/report. Awesome I'm sort of famous again 😂😂😂😂😂😂.

Ha! Did you get paid for it? This Morning played my TikTok out on live TV and are still ignoring my invoice…

How do you find out about these brick events taking place?
Checking the websites of the companies that run them. The one for this event is in the description of the video.
@blockpartyuk Appreciate the response. Keep up the great content and happy building
Great video, thanks
How much is the red London bus going for
Hey @blockparty I was one of the traders there with my dad at hillians bricks it was great to see you hope you had a good time at the show
Great vendors, sold me an amazing razor crest! Thank you hillians bricks
I brought some items from you, great stall and a lovely well mannered lad and his Dad running it
@@xBRADDERZ711x Thank you! Hope you enjoy building it
@@hgreaves7090 Thank you for the nice comment
Are u going to the one in Kent on the 9th of next month
No, Kent is a bit far for us. We stick to the ones in the midlands.
picked up the bookshop for £210 sealed, is this good??
Sounds good to me.
How do I find the nearest Brick events locally to me? I am passing through MK on Thursday, so will have to stop in that store.
I just uploaded a TikTok about that. But basically, I just check the websites of the various companies
@ I am 55 TikTok means nothing to me 🤣
I’m 42! It’s not that much different to RUclips!
Any lord of the rings sets?
That’s the thing about theses events they sell sets that’s still in the shops or still online for a bit more or a lot more does my head in I can understand sets that’s u can’t by no more

Just wandering what’s the value of an original BNIB LEGO 6776 set this was withdrawn in 2001 after the 9/11 happened?.
Do you ever see the Doctor Who TARDIS set at any of these events Kev?
1 minute after I posted this it appears 😂
Bus goes for £130 to £145 never get great deals at these event but glad u had a good time.

Some of those prices were very “ambitious”.
Yeah, you certainly have to shop around the stalls and be willing to haggle!
Is this the same event that was crap lol that was in Edinburgh
No
@blockpartyuk ok.it looked good ,would have been poor after it seen one or two sets I would have gotten lol
Stuff the Lego. I was more fascinated by the carpet
I need to find one of these conventions in Lincolnshire or near by when they do one but with not being on facebook I never get to hear of any.. is there ever a real big one that’s worth going to that happens just once a year
There’s a Toyfair at Spalding next Sunday
26th at Springfields, £3.50 for entry at 10am that’s not bad for Lego, If not go in the Lego store
@@BatmanBen06 thanks for the info 👍🏼 I’ll probably check it out
I’m not sure, it’s a bit far for me to travel so I don’t really look. I tend to focus around the midlands.
Are you coming to Coventry in March as all being well I will be displaying there for the 1st time with my classic space display
Glad you liked the Kevin mini-fig pack, and hopefully say hi to you at Northampton. I will keep a Daisy Duck back for you ;-)
Bob’s Bricks
Haha, thanks very much, very happy with it!
That london bus is on my wishlist as well. Although my budget means I will definetly get a used one
I almost bought a used one at an event before Christmas and it was more than this new one!
