- FINALLY. I have been awaiting this day for quite some time. Some crumb of news about our beloved Miraculous! And we’ve got quite a bit of it! In just over 2 weeks we’l have a brand new Miraculous special with Season 6 coming in hot off it’s tails. Can’t be upset over that now can we. I’m genuinely so excited because I’ve had so much fun theorising over the special which I’m covering today (Season 6 trailer tomorrow), and if there’s a lot to speculate over chances are it’s gonna be good. Might not be the end result we were hoping for (reverse excuse/explanation anyone?) but the story and how it gets there looks really interesting. So here’s my theories on it all. Enjoy.
The last special was a banger so I can only hope this one is too. I really need the context for Marinette hugging Nathalie
The context is really obvious. her being revived after she clearly died in the s5 finale and Marinette shocked after Gabe made the wish so hugging is pretty normal

The idea of Adrien becoming the villain sounds really cool. On the other hand, the concept of time travel doesn't excite me at all. Like you said, it sounds like this will be another Cat Blanc scenario where everything will be reset and Adrien won't know a thing in the end. It would be great if Ladybug realized that she can't keep lying to Adrien or this will happen. But I'm pretty sure this is the writers giving us another reason why the reveal can't happen.
I think it'll be Luka rather than Adrian, as the concept of time travel works much better with him as he's the holder of the snake miraculous.
I have hope that it's not (for some reason), but it is is, I'm done.

I'm also going to miss the old art style too - the villain is probably going to be Adrian you are right about that but I heard someone who had an more interesting theory to who else it could be: Lila from the future who has acumatized herself to find the perfect point in time to win - I have a feeling that it's going to be the most emotional of their specials even more than their Paris was - I'm so excited.
I have a theory: the blue time guy (I think his name is Time Master but I'm not sure) IS Adrien himself, but from the future. Let me explain a bit more: Adrien finds out that Ladybug has lied to him, because Lila told him, so he gets akumatized by Chrystalis (or whatever Lila's villain name is), and she gives him the ability to travel through time, so he finds out who Ladybug is, and takes her earringa to prevent her from staying as Ladybug and so his father would have never died.

if so then why didnt he just go back to origins when marinette was unexpirenced and took it from her then?
From what we learn so far about the LS, im gonna say it already failed concept wise bcs of 2 things:
1. It's clearly a justification special why Adrichat not in yhe finale is a good thing, and they'll blame Marinette for that for whatever reasons. This is basically Derision 2.0
2. Adrien is clearly akumatized into that Time Man, which means Chrysalis is active. But that means this is Chrysalis' debut, which makes this special a must watch. A special should only explore new possibilities, not being a necessity to watch to understand the main story. It already failed in their concept as a special.
This special is the definition of the Miraculous team trying to have a "let him cook" moment after the finale left so many questions! Lol
The artstyle change also happened to Ninjago, and the first arc that used the new art style is the show's peak, with Dragons Rising coming in close. So hopefully Miraculous follows suite.
An animation refresh can be super helpful for a writing refresh too. They've been working on improving the writing of the show over the last couple of seasons with varying degrees of success. I hope the revamped animation helps air out the writing a bit too.
While I'm looking forward to it I think it has the same issue as the Paris special where it comes out like a year later than it should have. We're just about to start season 6 with a new animation style and the special hasn't even come out. Recreation was 14 months ago...
I think that the Blue Time villain stuff happens before Marinette returns the Miraculouses to their original form, then it's that scene of Marinette and Adrien and the pool and Miss Bustier as Mayor.
I can't deny that fact that i think ultimatetely this whole special is gonna be uneventful. Maybe not eventful but because of all the time shenanigans its gonna just mean that nothing will last. I do feel like its gonna be just an excuse on why Adrien cannot know about his father being Hawk Moth or any of the other MAJOR SECRETS PEOPLE ARE KEEPING. Which feels like a poor plot device.
I saw someone mention that there seems like they might be two DIFFERENT villains in the specials as the one that steals the Miraculous and the one seen the Gabe's lair actually look very different. Different color schemes. Different Masks. I guess they could be the same but it would be interesting if there are separate threats.
I think the time traveler is adrien akkumatized I think kugami and Felix will be important this season I also think we are in a time line that will disappear like the other 2
Also the time guy literally looks similar to Adrien's Ephemeral form so it could very well be him after finding out an awful truth.

I wouldn't be surprised if this time they do the reset, both Adrien and Marinette have a big secret to keep from each other, they remember. Especially if he is the Time Master character - because remember what adult Bunnyx said? "What is seen can't be unseen". From the perspective of a fellow time traveller.

Man this will be the last time we will see the old animation style. Although after the Paris special I hope the London special will be just as great. Either way I’m really hyped for it. Although ngl if Adrien ends up being that villain and he tries making a wish after giving Claw Noir that talk from high above of “I could never subject anyone else to loosing their mother” I’m giving him the side eye.
The clip of Marinette in the London edge of time trailer, we get to see a clip of Marinette putting her miraculous into a box, this kinda of reminds of when back in season 1 the origin episode when Marinette first got her miraculous and was too scared to use the miraculous and placed her miraculous in a box.❤🐞

I’m conflicted. I’m kind of excited bc it’s a special, but I’m also going to be really upset if this turns out to be yet another reason to justify keeping Adrien out of the loop, or to justify lying to the entirety of Paris/the world. I think both were terrible writing decisions and I don’t want this to be just another thing to brush off fans’ concerns or complaints
Yh ik what u mean. I’ve always hated the whole “they can’t know each other’s identities or the world will end!” This stuff with Adrien is just a worst version of that. It’s lazy and contrived writing. It’s okay for Adrien and Paris to be left in the dark in the sense that if the story acknowledges it’s a bad idea but it’s something Marinette has decided (like she’s a teenager and would be experiencing so much stress and anxiety over this. It’s Gabe’s fault for putting all of this on her. He was going to die anyway. He took the easy way out and basically guilt tripped her). But I don’t think that’s going to happen. Idk, it just feels so infantilising and is a really bad message to younger viewers- that it’s okay to withhold very, very important information because the other person “won’t be able to take it”
I don't have too much hope for season 6, so if this special ends up doing Adrien dirty AGAIN, I'm probably going to be done with the show. I'm just so sick of it.

I actually think the shot of her putting the miraculous away is from the scene during origins. This is because we know Marinette loses her miraculous to the villain and we have a shot of Marinette entering a rabbit portal into her room. So I think she has jumped into that point in time (back to before the second stoneheart fight) to get her miraculous and be able to fight the villains. My main reason for this is the animation in that clip looks identical to the lighting and texture from s1.

They will give us another stupid reason like they did with the ephemeral and chat Blanc episode and also Adrichat will not have a big role in the episode like they did in the last episode of season 5 so I will skip it.
For some reason, I have a feeling that they want us to think that way and they will pull a twist.
I still think they are going to take advantage here to retcon the series. Even they said season 6 would be like a fresh start.

The thing is, the Paris special was something not alot of people were hyped for and it ended up being better than expected, I'm afraid of getting too hyped for this special and it sucking
My first thought was that it was Adrien too, but I'm not sure. In the trailer, someone leaves a note on the desk saying that Marinette is Ladybug for Lila go find. Unless Adrien is alumatized, I don't see him giving up Marinette’s identity to the villain like that. Or at all. Unless he was akumatized.

If Adrien was the one to defeat His father, talk sense into him, see the pod were Emilie was, destroyed his lair, hugged Natalie who is his mother figure and was the one to announce his death, it would have been an emotional scene and development for Adrien and most importantly, it would make the most sense but for some reason, it has to be Marinette who literally has no relation to the arc and the characters involved.

For Marinette to become Chronobug, she needs to borrow her own Miraculous from the past, the scene of her putting the earrings in the drawer belongs to the origins episode, she does exactly that at the end of the first part, that's where she borrows the earrings from

@@lolcatz88 Unfortunely one of the worst aspects of the show is the mess of production, alot of leaks, some countries getting really behind when episodes getting released, some releasing episodes very out of order, so there really isnt a way to know. But I believe at least october most countries will already have release dates or the special itself released.
I actually hope it is Adrien who is the time guy, that would bring a whole new twist and exciting moment 😆😆 and I've seen people say that the time person is Lila, Idk maybe, but I don't think so.

Judging from the trailers and time travel shit playing a role in this London Special I have a very bad feeling that this Special is going to try to justify Marinette's action, and reasoning why she doesn't tell Adrien the truth about his father. Adrien deserves to know the truth about his father being Hawkmoth because he's very critical important to the main story. I don't care if "the truth hurts" or "not everyone needs to know the truth" because in Adrien's case he has the right to know the truth. Adrien can't keep living his life not knowing his own father is Hawkmoth. The man who emotional abuses him throughout Season 4 and 5. Also, I don't mind the new character design in Season 6. I actually like the new design because the characters look older and actually growing up. However, the animation sequence needs more work because the character's movement and reactions looks very jarring.

This is just something crazy I thought up about but what if it is a young time traveling Gabriel Agreste that was told by the older Gabe who used second chance that his girlfriend will die if she used the peacock miraculous so he told him at a certain point in time to get the rings along with ladybug miraculous to fix everything I don’t think this would happened I’m mostly joking but it would be some shit if they pulled a kingdom hearts dream drop distance
The thing I'm most excited about is the combat. The final fights with monarch, shadybug and claw noir where the best of the whole series and hope to see some cool fight in London special.

and giving the frame of Tomoe smiling in the 6th season trailer made me think that Tomoe Tsurugi is the new butterfly miraculous holder.
Honestly isn’t one of the lesion in time travel is that there are some things that can’t be change in the past and if you do you’ll end up creating a terrible future, so shouldn’t they apply that to miraculous cuz with every time someone goes back in back something gets change

Kind of wish the villain was a time traveling Chloe who tried to go back to the past to correct her prior mistakes due to having a miserable life after being sent to New York and is desperate to change her future. Be kind of cool and tragic that her live spiraled so badly she stole the Rabbit Miraculous or simply asked for the power to go back to fix things. Likely also having come to regret her past actions.
That theory is actually pretty great… did you come up with it yourself? (It would make a good twist).

So my theory is that the main villain is a akumatized Adrien who after finding out that Gabe was monarch and he wanted a wish to save his mom gets him akumatized and because of that he plans to make a wish that he is sent back to before Emilie used the peacock to stop her so he can have both of his parents but the cost of going back in time with Gimmi causes the future to be destroyed

Because luca knows the identity of lady bug and cat noir the future laila might have accumatuzed him to know the secret identity of ladybug and cat noir
But were failed and returned to laila to tell her not to acumatize luca
This might actually give him second chance
Because the light we see in the last ep it is coming from the portal which is blue and the costume of the villian is blue it might be luca using second chance
